Free Fire: Kalahari Map Will Be Removed From Ranked Game With Ranked Season 18

As reported in our previous post, Free Fire is getting its Ranked Season 18 on October 16, 2020, at 2:30 PM IST. A new ranked season leaves the players at a lower rank and brings some new rewards.

But this time, there is going to be something shocking. With the introduction of Ranked Season 18 in the game, the Kalahari map will be removed from the battle royale ranked games.

The map will still be there in the Clash Squad rank and casual matches, Battle Royale casual matches, and custom matches. Also note, its removal from ranked BR matches will not lower down the size of the game as it will still be there in the game files.

Why Is Kalahari Getting Removed From the Ranked Games?

After introducing this desert-based map in the ranked games, many players reported to that developers that Kalahari does not seem fit for the ranked matches. It is quite hard to play in ranked games on this map, and hence developers reached this decision.

What do you think about the Kalahari map’s removal from the ranked games? Do let us know in the comment section below. My personal opinion is that it is not a good decision because Kalahari is a kind of map that creates a challenge for every player on the battlefield.

There is no surety about the blue zone on this map. If it is in your favor, that’s a great thing, but it starts the real challenge if it is not in your favor. You have to apply all your game knowledge and tactics to reach the safe zone. That, I think, was a great thing.
