Free Fire MAX: Official Release Date & Minimum Requirements Revealed

Free Fire is one of the most popular battle royale games available on mobile, with more than 500 million active players. To comply with the players’ new needs and stay in the competition, Garena has announced the enhanced version of Free Fire called ‘Garena Free Fire MAX.’ It is going to offer better graphics animations and effects to the players with the same gameplay.

Free Fire MAX creates a lot of confusion among the players that whether it will be an update in the standard Free Fire application or a completely new application. We want to clarify that Free Fire MAX is a separate application, but it runs on the same servers and offers cross-play with the standard Free Fire version.

In a single match, players using the standard Free Fire version and Free Fire MAX both can be found. The difference is in the premium gameplay experience. With the MAX version, players can experience reworked vehicles, structures, houses, play zone effects, explosion effects, bullet trace effects, and much more. Also, there will not be any special skins, guns, items, etc., for the MAX version.

Free Fire MAX is in the hype for more than 1 year, and the developers have taken many beta tests of the enhanced version in different regions. Finally, the good news is here, and Free Fire MAX is all set to release on December 7, 2020.

The minimum requirement to play Free Fire MAX on Android devices is 2 GB of RAM and Android version 4.4 (Kitkat) or higher.

iOS Devices:

The minimum requirement to play Free Fire MAX on iOS devices is the iPhone 6s with iOS 11.

How To Download and Play Free Fire MAX:

Free Fire MAX will be available to download from the Google Play Store and App Store, respectively, for Android and iOS devices. After downloading the game, players are not required to make a new or separate account on the enhanced version. All your settings and progress will directly be transferred to the MAX version as you log in using the old account.
