Free Fire To Get ‘Kord Machine Gun’ With OB27 Update
Free Fire’s (FF) OB27 update is about to make its way to the game in April 2021. With this update, new characters, a new pet, new game mechanisms, and much more will be added. You can check out the complete available leaks of the OB27 update here.
Before releasing new features on the global servers, developers try them out a dedicated testing server called ‘Advanced Server.’ The same would happen with the OB27 update also. The one such new feature to be tried out on the OB27 Advance Server is officially announced as ‘Kord Machine Gun.’
It is also important to note that not all the Advance Server features come to the game with the actual release of updates on the global server. But there are high chances of Kord Machine Gun coming to FF with OB27 update.

About Kord Machine Gun:
Free Fire has officially made a statement that Kord Gun has more damage and rate of Fire when lowering or lying down. In simple words, when you are in the prone position, the Kord machine gun’s results would be surprising.
The reason behind it is that it is a heavy machine gun that comes with a stand to control it smoothly. As a heavy weapon, in-game characters can’t fire, keeping it in their hands with the same accuracy as compared to when it is on the stand. So while in the prone position, characters keep it on the ground using the stand and provide you best accuracy and range.
The Kord Machine Gun’s in-game attributes are not known yet, so it would be too early to get to know about the new strategies and tactics to be used while dealing with enemies. But one thing is assured, as a heavy weapon, while in hands, it would reduce characters’ running speed.
Talking about the gun in real life, the Kord-12.7 mm heavy machine gun is a Russian design that entered service in 1998, replacing the older NSV machine gun. Externally the weapon resembles the NSV; however, the internal mechanism has been extensively reworked, changing from a horizontally pivoting breech block to a rotating bolt design.
The range of this machine gun would be too much that you can even call it a mini-sniper. In the game, it would have a range more than M60 and M249. In real-life, it has a range of 2000 meters.
