Blox Fruits Update 29 – What We Know So Far

Image showing Blox Fruits Update 29 leaks featuring the Ice Fruit rework, Logia fruits, and hints of a holiday-themed December 2025 update.

The Blox Fruits Update 29 may center on major reworks of the Logia fruits. One prominent clue: both administrators My Game43 and Zoti reportedly had the Ice Fruit equipped in their inventory – an unusual coincidence that many players believe signals an upcoming rework of that fruit.

In this video, the narrator says: “No Logia fruit has received a major update in the game … and I think Ice would be the perfect candidate for this Christmas.”

Another hint: In a screenshot behind the admin’s profile is a lab-panel with fire and ice iconography – possibly an in-game tease of upcoming Fire and Ice (Logia) fruit reworks. Furthermore, the video argues that because the Leopard (Zoan) fruit previously got a rework following a similar admin-fruit coincidence, the Ice fruit may be next.

In a another video, the same admin inventory clue is discussed: “The ice fruit is in Zoth’s inventory … the ice fruit rework would be nice, but we also feel like … the Oni fruit, Celestial fruits … are still know unknown.”

So summarising the key leaks:

  • Ice Fruit (Logia) is strongly speculated to get a major rework.
  • Devs may also target other Logia fruits (or even Celestial/Oni fruits) for rework in this update.
  • The focus appears less on brand-new fruits and more on fruit reworks / upgrades.
  • Possibly some map / island / admin panel hidden teasers point to the theme.

Blox Fruits Update 29 Release Date

  • Update 26 (April 17, 2025) introduced the “Gravity Update” – fruit reworks + new fruits.
  • Update 27 (August 23, 2025) covered fishing, level cap increase, etc.
  • Update 28 (October 31, 2025) dubbed the “Tiger Update” focused on Zoan (Tiger/Leopard) fruit mutation.

Thus historically we see:

  • A big fruit-rework update in April (Update 26)
  • Update 27 in August mostly added new mechanics (non-fruit)
  • A seasonal / creature-mutation update in late October (Update 28)

Given that pattern, Update 29 logically should aim for the end of November / early December 2025, perhaps matching the holiday/snow/Christmas theme and allowing enough gap after Update 28.

Expected Release Date for Update 29

The gap from Update 28 to next major update looks to be ~6–8 weeks. Given the leak emphasises the Ice Fruit and holiday vibes (“natal”), a plausible release window is mid-December 2025, likely around 15 – 20 December 2025.

If past update launches often occur on a Friday/Saturday UTC time (for global players), we’d predict Friday, December 18, 2025 (in UTC).

So: Tentative release date: December 18 / 19, 2025.

What to Expect in Update 29

Fruit Reworks & Logia Focus

  • An extensive rework of the Ice Fruit: improved visuals, new moves, possibly a zone affect or upgraded awakening.
  • Possibly other Logia fruits (e.g., Flame, Light, Dark) receiving major reworks to bring them in line with newer fruit power curve.
  • Upgraded fruit progression system (following what was started in Update 26) to include reworked Logias.

New Mechanics / Features

  • A holiday-themed event (given “natal” mention) tied to Update 29: maybe new skins, accessories, candy/ice themed items.
  • Admin panel teasers hint at fire & ice capsules: may point to new “experiment” system where devs will allow upgrading fruits via fragments/materials (similar to Update 26).
  • Possible map visuals / lab location addition for the scientist NPC (as mentioned in the leak video).
  • Potential balancing changes to existing fruits (to make reworked Logia fruits worthwhile and to shift meta).

Meta Implications

  • Logia users may gain fresh viability in both PvE and PvP.
  • Fruit trading / treasure storage system may be impacted (if reworked fruits have upgrade paths).
  • Players may need to grind fragments / materials – so advantage to early adopters.
  • Older fruits or meta fruits may get nerfed to keep balance.

Why This Update Makes Sense Now

  • Logia fruits have not been given a major update before (according to the leak). This sets the stage for something significant.
  • The seasonal timing (holiday) provides a nice backdrop for “ice & fire” theme (as per leak image of fire and ice capsules).
  • The devs need to rotate the meta and refresh long-time players; a Logia overhaul fits that pattern.
  • Past updates show a consistent rhythm (fruit reworks, seasonal events, level cap increases) – Update 29 feels like the next logical big push.

Final Thoughts

If you’re a Blox Fruits player, now is a good time to save up premium materials (fragments, rarer fruits) and keep an eye on community hubs. If the Ice Fruit really does get a big rework, it may become one of the best picks early in Update 29. And mark your calendar for mid-December 2025 – that’s when we expect the update to drop.
