FC 26 Trophy Titans – Everything You Need to Know About Football’s Greatest Legends in Ultimate Team

FC 26 Trophy Titans - Everything You Need to Know About Football's Greatest Legends in Ultimate Team

The Trophy Titans promo has officially arrived in Ultimate Team for FC 26, celebrating the most decorated Icons and Heroes in football history. This event completely abandons active players to focus entirely on the game’s legendary roster. The full Icons and Heroes campaign returns to the game after being absent for almost three years, with its last appearance in FIFA 23.

The main purpose of Trophy Titans is to pay tribute to players who have won many major championships in their football careers. This time, the card lineup includes low-rated “baby” versions, which have a much higher drop rate than top versions. This dual-version system means more players can realistically acquire fan-favourite legends without breaking the bank, while those chasing the top-tier cards still have something to grind for.

The campaign launched on April 3, 2026, and players can earn themed rewards through new Live Events, Squad Building Challenges, Evolutions, and more. The campaign will be live for two weeks, with Team 1 currently available in packs. Team 2 is expected to be released the following week, when Team 1 will be removed from packs.

Three Card Types You Need to Know

EA has introduced three distinct versions of these legendary cards into the pack and SBC pool. Prime Trophy Titans are the absolute pinnacle of the promo, featuring incredible stats and introducing a widespread three PlayStyle+ meta for Icons and Heroes. Junior Trophy Titans are slightly lower-rated versions of the same legends, ensuring that more accessible versions of fan-favourite players are still obtainable on the transfer market or through objectives for a lower coin budget. Trophy Titan Moments are special edition cards celebrating one specific, legendary match in a Titan’s career.

The introduction of three PlayStyle+ slots on Prime cards marks a genuine shift in the power curve for FC 26. This promo marks a significant power curve shift, as top-tier legends will now have three PlayStyle+ slots alongside more earnable, lower-rated versions.

Team 1 Highlights: The Biggest Names

Zinedine Zidane and Alex Morgan are the highest-rated items in Team 1, both at 96 OVR. The team is stacked across every position, from iconic forwards to generational defenders.

The leaked lineup for Team 1 includes high-rated Icons such as Zinedine Zidane, Franz Beckenbauer, Ruud Gullit, and Ronaldinho. Other notable Icons featured in the promotion are Lilian Thuram, Birgit Prinz, Eric Cantona, Francesco Totti, and Alex Morgan. Defensive and goalkeeping positions are represented by players like Nadine Angerer, Alessandro Nesta, Carles Puyol, and Sol Campbell.

The Junior versions of Emilio Butragueño, Birgit Prinz, Lilian Thuram, Alan Shearer, Alessandro Nesta, Carles Puyol, and Sol Campbell are currently available in packs. Meanwhile, the Junior version of Eden Hazard can be unlocked through SBCs.

As community pack-opening videos confirm, Sol Campbell and Alan Shearer are appearing with remarkable frequency in guaranteed packs and player picks – meaning these Junior versions are genuinely the most common pulls players are experiencing right now. While not the headline names, both are solid additions with EVO potential that can be built upon.

Best Meta Cards and Who to Target

The top tier of Trophy Titans is dominated by legendary forwards and creative midfielders. Their items come with massive boosts to pace, shooting, dribbling and often new or improved PlayStyles+ that make them meta-defining.

Here is a quick breakdown of the standout cards worth targeting:

  • Zinedine Zidane – A complete midfielder who can fulfil multiple roles, featuring top-tier passing, dribbling, and a three PlayStyle+ combination.
  • Alex Morgan (96 OVR, ST) – Morgan is likely going to be one of the most meta strikers in the entire Trophy Titans release, offering a perfect mix of explosive sprinting, quick turns, and clinical finishing.
  • Kaká (94 OVR, CAM) – The classic Kaká formula: fast, silky, and deadly on counters. With 95 dribbling, he will glide past defenders and shine in formations like 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1.
  • Franz Beckenbauer (94 OVR, CB) – His Trophy Titans items provide a unique mix of defending, passing, and composure, making him ideal as a ball-playing centre-back or deep-lying playmaker.
  • Ramires (93 OVR, CDM) – A beloved meta card returns with pumped-up pace, stamina, and defensive awareness, letting him cover CDM, CM, and wide midfield roles.

Formation Excellence: Earn PlayStyle+ Evolutions

One of the most exciting additions in Trophy Titans is not just the cards in packs – it is what you can earn by playing the game differently. For the first time in FC 26, players can earn Evolutions that grant a second PlayStyle+ to players rated up to 91 OVR. To earn these highly sought-after Evolution consumables, you must win matches using specific, strict formations.

Score in 15 matches in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty, or in Rivals, Champions, or Live Events, using the following formations to unlock PlayStyle+ Evolution rewards: Three at the Back (3-5-2) for Anticipate+, The Trident (4-3-3 (4)) for Tech+, Magic Rectangle (4-2-2-2) for Finesse+, and Ancient Triangle (4-3-2-1) for Quick Step+. Complete the entire group to unlock an additional Evolution.

These Formation Excellence objectives add real long-term value to the promo beyond pack luck, giving every player a meaningful path to improving their squad regardless of their coin balance.

Live Events, SBCs, and What Else Is Available

FC 26 Trophy Titans introduces the first-ever Red Bull Mystery Ball Live Event, offering themed Evolution Consumables and Packs. The promo also includes a new Ultimate Gauntlet, two Flash Rush events, and a limited-time tournament marking the midweek European competition.

Daily Squad Building Challenges feature a mix of Trophy Titans players, Trophy Titans Junior players, Moments, and more, including Showdown SBCs celebrating the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. The Showdown SBCs tied to the Champions League quarter-finals add a nice layer of topical relevance to the event and are worth completing if you have the fodder available.

The Trophy Titans Icons squad includes 26 players, with prices ranging from 11,750 to 7,480,000 coins on PlayStation and Xbox. The Icon squad features one goalkeeper, eleven defenders, four midfielders, one winger, and nine forwards, with ratings spanning from 88 to 96 overall.

Is Trophy Titans Worth Engaging With?

Trophy Titans is one of the most content-rich promos FC 26 has seen. The dual-version system keeps the promo accessible, the Formation Excellence objectives reward active players rather than just big spenders, and the sheer star power of the card pool – Zidane, Ronaldinho, Gullit, Morgan – makes it genuinely exciting to open packs or complete SBCs.

Pack-opening experiences shared by the community paint a familiar picture: Sol Campbell and Alan Shearer dominate the guaranteed picks, while genuine top-tier hits like Kaká, Berbatov, or Dino Zoff are rare but absolutely game-changing when they land. The key advice from experienced players is consistent: complete the daily SBCs, grind the Formation Excellence objectives, and save your bigger packs for when the odds feel most favourable.

Whether you are chasing a 96-rated Zidane or simply looking to add a solid EVO-ready Sol Campbell to your backline, Trophy Titans has something meaningful for every type of FUT player.
