OG John Pork in Steal a Brainrot Roblox – How to Get It, the Is Calling Trait, and Everything You Need to Know

If you have been playing Steal a Brainrot for a while, you already know that OG brainrots are in a league of their own. They are rare, they are expensive, and getting one feels like a genuine achievement. The latest addition to that exclusive club is John Pork, and I can tell you from everything we have seen so far, this one is genuinely different from every OG that came before it. Not just because of its meme origins, but because of a unique event mechanic that makes the entire server feel alive the moment it spawns.

What Is John Pork in Steal a Brainrot?

John Pork is an anthropomorphic pig with a human-like face, blue pupils, and a wide smile. It wears a red flannel over a gray shirt, blue jeans, and gray shoes, and holds a phone in its right hand. If you have been on the internet long enough, you already recognize this character. John Pork was created in 2018 by the Instagram handle @john.pork, and the developers at BRAZILIAN SPYDER received permission directly from that account before adding the character to the game. That kind of official clearance is worth noting because it shows the developers take their additions seriously, especially when real-world creators are involved.

John Pork is the first OG brainrot to be added in an odd-numbered month, and it is the newest OG added after a four-month gap. With its arrival, the total number of OG-rarity brainrots in Steal a Brainrot has increased to five.

John Pork’s Stats and Income

Before we get into how to obtain it, let us talk numbers. John Pork has a base income of $500 million per second and costs $500 billion in in-game cash, making it the second least-generating OG brainrot. That might sound underwhelming compared to Strawberry Elephant or Headless Horseman, but raw income is not the main reason you want this brainrot. The event it triggers is.

If John Pork receives its own “Is Calling” trait during the event, that trait alone gives a 7x money multiplier. Stack that with other traits during craft sessions, and you are looking at numbers that can completely reshape your leaderboard standing.

The John Pork Event: How It Works

This is where things get genuinely exciting, and this is also what makes John Pork one of the most talked-about additions in the game’s history. When John Pork spawns, it rings and activates an event that applies the “Is Calling” trait on random brainrots. This event will only be run three times ever across all servers, and one of those times was during the launch update itself.

When the John Pork event activates, a phone with John Pork on it spawns above the cave, and one half of the map emits green Call buttons while the other half emits red Decline buttons. The brainrots that land in the green zone have a chance to receive the trait. From what we saw in the first admin abuse session, this created absolute chaos in the server, with players scrambling to position their best brainrots in the green areas, hoping to get tagged.

The first John Pork event occurred on May 2, 2026, and was initiated by developer Sammy. We were in the server for that session, and the moment Sammy announced the event was running, the entire chat exploded. Players were locking bases, repositioning brainrots, and watching the map in real time, hoping their units would get hit. It was unlike any other event I have seen in this game.

The “Is Calling” Trait: Why It Matters

The “Is Calling” trait is not just a stat boost. It is a whole identity shift. John Pork’s trait is the first and only trait in the game that changes the name of any brainrot it is applied to. Any brainrot that receives the trait has its name displayed as “(Brainrot name) is Calling.” For example, a Tim Cheese with this trait would be displayed as “Tim Cheese is Calling.”

The “Is Calling” trait provides a 7.5x income multiplier to all brainrots that have it, and it can be stacked with other traits. To put that in perspective, most traits in the game offer around a 4x to 6x multiplier, with only a handful of OG traits and event-exclusive traits crossing the 7x threshold. Getting this trait on a high-earning brainrot like a Cyber Gym Bros or a Digi Narwhal is genuinely game-changing. We pulled a Cyber Money Bros during the first session and saw those numbers jump significantly after it got hit.

How to Get John Pork in Steal a Brainrot

There are two main ways to add John Pork to your collection, and neither of them is easy.

  • Buy from the Red Carpet: You can purchase John Pork directly from the conveyor belt for $5 billion in-game cash. The catch is timing. John Pork will only appear on the Red Carpet when the event is active, and given how rare those windows are, you need to be online and ready the moment it opens.
  • Steal from another player’s base: Servers that have John Pork spawned can have copies sitting on rival bases. Using a fast movement brainrot or boots and pulling it back to your own plot before the owner returns is a legitimate strategy. However, keep in mind that anyone who already owns John Pork is almost certainly a veteran player with solid base defenses, so go in prepared.

To maximize your chances, try to be online during Admin Abuses and Taco Tuesdays, as those are the sessions most likely to coincide with John Pork spawning.

Tips to Maximize Your Chances During the Event

We learned a few things during the first admin abuse session that are worth passing on:

  • Do not server-hop mid-event. The server where John Pork has spawned is where the buffed brainrots actually exist for that cycle. Leaving mid-event resets your access to that ringing instance.
  • Position your best brainrots in the green zone on the map when the event activates. The trait is applied randomly, but being in the right area increases exposure.
  • Lock your base the moment the event begins. Tagged brainrots become prime theft targets immediately, and other players will come looking.
  • Save your cash before the event. Do not dump your balance into mid-tier purchases right before a session. You need the liquidity to act fast on the Red Carpet if John Pork appears.

A Historic First

One detail worth highlighting for collectors: the very first John Pork that spawned in the game was a Gold variant. During the launch session we joined, user Winter Clouds was the one who ended up with the first indexable John Pork, and they were generous enough to allow others to view it. The base gold variant already looks impressive, and getting a Gold or Cyber mutation on top of the “Is Calling” trait is the kind of combination that would make this one of the rarest brainrots in the entire game.

I think what makes John Pork genuinely special is that it was built with community in mind. The event mechanic does not just reward the one player who owns it. It creates a server-wide moment that everyone participates in, for better or worse. That is smart game design, and it is exactly the kind of content that keeps a game like Steal a Brainrot feeling fresh long after the initial hype fades.
