Roblox Wizard Alchemy Races Tier List – Best Race to Choose in 2026

Roblox Wizard Alchemy Races Tier List - Best Race to Choose in 2026

If you have just started playing Wizard Alchemy on Roblox, one of the first big decisions you will face is your race. Races are not just cosmetic. They give you real stat boosts, passive abilities, and in many cases, they can completely define how strong your character is. Picking the right race early can save you a lot of grinding later. So let us break it all down for you.

What Are Races in Wizard Alchemy?

Races in Wizard Alchemy are character attributes that give you unique bonuses and passive skills. There are currently 10 races in the game, spread across 5 rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Every player starts as a Human by default, which sadly gives you zero buffs. To get a better race, you need to reroll using the Race Menu found under the Stats section at the top of your screen.

The key insight here is simple. The higher the rarity, the stronger the race, but some Epic races are only useful if you build around their specific element. We will cover this in detail below.

How to Reroll Your Race

To reroll, go to Settings, then navigate to the Race Menu. Each reroll costs either Robux or a reroll spin you earn through codes. Right now, there are a few active codes you can redeem for free spins. The codes “wizard” and “release” each give you five free spins, and there is also a code called “machi” that provides additional rerolls. Redeem these as early as possible before they expire. Every free spin counts, especially when you are chasing a Legendary race.

S Tier: Thestrals (1% drop chance)

This is the best race in the game right now, and it is not even close. Thestrals come packed with an exclusive attack effect that applies a Disaster status on every hit. This is a damage-over-time effect that deals continuous damage for 5 seconds. On top of that, your normal attacks gain plus 20% dark elemental damage and convert into the dark attribute. You also get plus 3% base movement speed, plus 10% jump height, plus 10% attack power, and plus 30 skill speed. The combination of three separate damage boosts along with mobility makes Thestrals the top pick for both story progression and boss farming.

The honest truth is that if you get Thestrals early, you are in a very good position for the rest of the game. Dark element is also the best element in the game right now since it is the only one with a Legendary potion and can one-shot the Dwarf King, who is the best gold-farming boss.

A Tier: Stellar Ambassador (4% drop chance)

Stellar Ambassador is our top recommendation for players who want a strong race without relying on a specific element. Every time you deal damage, you gain a burst of movement speed. This makes kiting enemies and dodging boss attacks much easier. You also get plus 20 skill speed and plus 10% attack power. These are general bonuses that work with any build, which is exactly why we rank it above the conditional Epic races below.

A Tier: Death Eater (10% drop chance)

Death Eater is excellent for solo farming. Every time you kill an enemy, you restore 5% of your maximum HP. Your HP regeneration speed is cut in half as a trade-off, but in active combat, the kill-based healing more than makes up for it. You also get plus 10% attack power. The reason we place Death Eater slightly above Fiendish Demon and Ice Crystal is that its damage boost is universal, not tied to a specific element. That said, if you are fully committed to a fire or ice build, the races below may outperform it.

Roblox Wizard Alchemy Death Eater

A Tier (Conditional): Fiendish Demon and Ice Crystal (5% drop chance each)

These two races live and die by your element choice. Fiendish Demon gives you plus 20% fire elemental damage and plus 2 base movement speed, but cuts your max HP by 10%. Ice Crystal gives plus 20% ice elemental damage and plus 10% max HP, but reduces your movement speed by 2. If you are running a fire or ice build, either of these can rival or even beat Stellar Ambassador in raw damage output. The movement speed advantage makes Fiendish Demon slightly better in open combat, while Ice Crystal’s HP bonus pairs well with tanky builds using skills like Ice Turtle Armor.

B Tier: Werewolf (10% drop chance)

Werewolf is a solid beginner race. It gives you a little bit of everything: plus 10% max HP, plus 5 attack power, plus 1 base movement speed, and plus 10 jump height. It does not excel in any one area, but it keeps you alive and deals decent damage while you farm for better rerolls. We recommend staying on Werewolf until you can consistently land A or S tier races.

C Tier: Undead (10% drop chance)

Undead has a flashy ability. When you take fatal damage, you survive at 1 HP, enter a brief invincibility state, and regenerate 30% of your HP. The cooldown is 180 seconds. The problem is that against most enemies, if you are playing well, you rarely get hit hard enough to trigger it. Without the passive activating, you are left with minus 30% max HP and only plus 10 skill speed, which is a poor trade. It is not useless, but it consistently underperforms compared to the races above it.

D Tier: Tree Spirit, Elf, and Human

These three are the weakest options in the game. Tree Spirit doubles your HP regeneration speed and gives plus 5% max HP, but punishes you with minus 2 base movement speed. Elf gives plus 3 base movement speed and plus 10 jump height, which sounds fun but offers almost nothing in real combat. Human, the starting race, has absolutely no buffs at all. Replace all three as quickly as possible.

Our Recommendation for New Players

Here is the practical approach we suggest. Redeem all available codes the moment you start. Use your free spins right away. If you land a Werewolf or higher, stick with it and keep playing. Once you accumulate more rerolls through gameplay or Robux, push for Stellar Ambassador or Death Eater in A tier. If you get lucky and hit Thestrals, stop rolling entirely.

One thing many beginners miss is that you can reset stat points for free at any time. So do not stress too much about your build early on. Experiment, see what suits your playstyle, and adjust as your race gets better. The stronger your race, the more your stat choices will start to matter.

Races are one of the few things in Wizard Alchemy that can genuinely accelerate your entire progression. Choose wisely, use your codes, and good luck with your rolls.
