If you play Forsaken on Roblox, you already know that Guest 1337 is one of the most iconic survivors in the game. He has been around since the beginning and carries a loyal fanbase. We finally got the Guest 1337 Rework and Refreshed UI update, officially titled Part 1, and it brings some of the biggest changes this character has ever seen. Let us break it all down for you.
What Is the Guest 1337 Revamp Update?
The developers dropped this Forsaken Guest 1337 revamp update without much warning, and the community was caught completely off guard. The update is labeled “Part 1,” which tells us that more changes are on the way. The two main goals of this update were to make Guest 1337 healthier for the overall game balance and to overhaul the Shop UI to work better for all players. Both of these were long overdue, and we think the devs delivered on both fronts.
Guest 1337 has always been one of Forsaken’s most skill-intensive survivors. His kit revolves around blocking, parrying, and punching killers to protect his team. Before this rework, he was both beloved and controversial because of how strong a skilled player could make him. Blocking dashes from killers gave him far too much power in the right hands, and that made him frustrating to go up against.

Key Changes to Guest 1337’s Kit
This is where things get really interesting. Let us walk you through what actually changed.
The biggest shift is that Guest 1337 no longer needs a successful block to earn a punch. You now get your punch off the bat, and using it gives the killer the “Helpless” status effect. This is a significant buff to his offensive pressure, especially early in a chase.
When you land a successful block, you now earn 10 permanent stacking overheal. This stacking has no cap, which means a skilled Guest 1337 who blocks consistently can build up a massive health pool over the course of a round.
However, the tradeoffs are real. Here is what got adjusted on the downside:
- Guest 1337 can now only block M1 attacks, eviscerate, and M1 extensions
- He can no longer block dashes, Behead, or Gashing Wounds
- The Charge ability no longer applies Helpless on killers
- The parry stun was slightly lowered, but the knockback distance was increased
These changes are a smart design decision. We used to see top-level Guest players blocking every dash and void rush in the game, which made chases feel unwinnable for killers. Now, the block is still powerful, but it asks you to read only normal attacks. We think this is a healthy direction for the character.

Why This Rework Actually Makes Sense
Here is our honest take: Guest 1337 was never a bad character. He was just misaligned with how the rest of the game was evolving. Killers kept getting new dashes, special moves, and complex kits, while Guest’s block was quietly countering all of it. The longer the game stayed updated without touching Guest, the wider that gap became.
The permanent overheal mechanic is genuinely clever. It rewards players who play correctly and rewards patience during a chase. At the same time, taking away the ability to block dashes finally gives killers like 1x1x1x1 and Two Time a fair shot when hunting him down. I personally think this keeps the skill ceiling high while making him less oppressive for casual players on the killer side.
The Charge ability losing Helpless might sting for some players, but it also means Guest cannot lock down killers with back-to-back ability chains as easily. We think that is fair.
The Shop UI Overhaul
Outside of the Guest rework, the other major focus of this update was the entire Shop UI redesign. And honestly, we are excited about this one too.
The old shop was iconic but outdated. It worked fine when Forsaken had fewer skins and options, but the game has grown massively since then. Scrolling through the shop used to feel clunky, especially when you wanted to buy something and then had to switch to inventory separately just to equip it.

The new shop lets you view rotating 3D renders of skins before you buy them. You can now see exactly what a skin looks like from every angle, which is something the community had been asking for a long time. The interface itself feels much cleaner and more organized. The developers also designed this new UI to support future updates and features, so we should expect it to expand over time.

This UI change is labeled Part 1 for a reason. We are expecting more improvements, possibly including better inventory management and more quality-of-life features down the line.
What About New Skins?
The update also brought a fresh batch of new skins for players to collect. Among the additions was the Spec Ops Pack, a game pass that includes exclusive Guest 1337 skins. What makes this one stand out is that purchasing this game pass reportedly contributes to a veteran charity, which is a great touch that fits well with Guest 1337’s military-themed identity.

There were also new SCP-themed items introduced, and players have been eager to hear the new SCP Last Man Standing audio. From what we have seen, the track sounds genuinely tense, with a quiet but building piano section that fits the mood perfectly.

Final Thoughts
This update is a strong move from the Forsaken development team. The Guest 1337 rework keeps the character meaningful while reining in the parts that made him frustrating. The shop UI overhaul is overdue and sets up the game for bigger content drops ahead. We are watching this Part 1 label closely, because if Part 2 keeps this momentum going, Forsaken could be heading into one of its best phases yet.
If you have been sleeping on Forsaken or took a break recently, now is a good time to hop back in and see the changes for yourself. And if you are a Guest 1337 main, give the new kit a proper try before writing it off. You might find that the overheal system opens up a whole new way to play the character.
