Roblox Needoh Tower – Everything You Need to Know About This Satisfying Obby

Roblox Needoh Tower - Everything You Need to Know About This Satisfying Obby

If you have been anywhere near TikTok or YouTube lately, you already know that Needoh squishies are everywhere. Kids are lining up outside toy stores before they open. Parents are hunting for restocks like it is a sport. And Roblox, being Roblox, took that energy and turned it into a full game. We jumped into Needoh Tower to give you the full picture, and honestly, it was way more fun than we expected.

What Is Needoh Tower?

Needoh Tower is an obby (obstacle course) game on Roblox built entirely around the Needoh squishy trend. The whole game is designed to look, feel, and sound like your favorite squishies. Every platform you jump on squishes under your feet. Every surface you walk through deforms and stretches. The game even plays satisfying squishing sound effects with each step you take. It is equal parts game and ASMR experience, and we say that as a compliment.

The concept is simple. You climb a tall tower from the bottom to the top, jumping across squishy platforms, crawling through tight gaps, and dodging glowing laser beams that drain your health. Along the way, you collect squishy toys that you can pull out and squeeze whenever you want. It sounds basic, and in some ways it is. But the execution is so charming that you forget you are playing what is essentially a jumping game.

The Real-World Needoh Craze Behind the Game

To understand why this game feels so timely, you need to know a little about the actual Needoh toy. Needohs are squishy stress toys made by the toy company Schylling, sold in an array of shapes and colors, including the Nice Cube, Gumdrop, Gummy Bear, Snow Ball, and Dohjees. They have been around since 2017, but they recently exploded in popularity thanks to social media.

Needoh sales are up more than three times this year, and the company sold through six months of inventory in just six weeks. Stores including Target, Five Below, and Learning Express have seen long lines from shoppers hoping to get their hands on the toys. We have genuinely seen people waiting outside stores before opening just to grab one.

The appeal goes well beyond just kids. Adults and teens buy them too, and some teachers have even got in line during their breaks to pick them up for their classrooms. When something is this satisfying to squeeze, age does not really matter. The Roblox game captures that same energy surprisingly well, which is a big reason it has taken off so fast.

How the Game Actually Works

We started out as a total noob with nothing, which is exactly how the game wants you to begin. Right away, we headed to the in-game shop and picked up a rainbow squishy Needoh. If you have the Robux to spare, we strongly recommend buying the double jump game pass early. It makes the whole climb significantly faster, especially through the sticky butter sections where your movement slows to a crawl.

The tower is divided into color-coded sections, and each one introduces a new squishy-themed obstacle.

  • The blue section uses ice cube platforms and slime pools. You sink slightly into them, which looks cool but can throw off your timing.
  • The yellow and orange section is all about butter. The butter blocks crack under your weight over time, and the cracking animation is genuinely one of the best details in the game.
  • The green section adds laser beams. These are the main source of damage in the game. Touch one and your health drops fast. We learned this the hard way more than once.
  • The purple section brings cat paw platforms and ice cream squishies.
  • Later sections add donuts, bananas, cheese blocks, dumplings, and even Dr. Pepper-themed Needohs.

Every section also has checkpoints scattered throughout. This matters more than you might think. Without them, dying would send you all the way back to the start. With them, death is just a minor setback. We died a handful of times early on, mostly from those glowing laser bits, but the checkpoints kept things from getting frustrating.

Collecting Squishies Along the Way

One of the most fun parts of Needoh Tower is collecting squishy toys as you climb. Scattered throughout the tower are interactive spots where you can pick up a new squishy. We collected the ice cube, a sphere, a blue needle squishy, the butter stick, and the rainbow cube over the course of our run. Each one can be pulled out at any time and squished for no reason other than it feels good. That is genuinely the point. We squished ours constantly between jumps.

The rainbow Needoh is the best-looking one, in our honest opinion. The butter squishy comes close because of the cracking sound effect it makes when you interact with it. There is something oddly satisfying about hearing virtual butter crack. The game does a great job of matching each squishy to a real-world toy variety, so if you are already a collector in real life, you will recognize most of them instantly.

Part Two Is Still Under Construction

At the very top of Part One, there is a portal that takes you into Part Two. We went through it, and what we found was a section still very much being built. The developer is actively updating the game, which is actually a great sign. It means there is more content coming. Part Two already has new obstacles, including gummy bear platforms, more cracked butter blocks, and some new slime sections. The bones are there. It just needs more time to be finished.

Here is something worth knowing before you go in: Part Two is more crowded than Part One right now. Everyone rushes through the portal as soon as they reach it. The combination of moving platforms and a packed lobby can make things chaotic. Be patient, wait for your moment to jump, and do not blindly follow other players. We made that mistake and paid for it.

Tips to Help You Climb Faster

We picked up a few useful things during our run that we wish we had known from the start.

  • Buy the double jump pass first. It is the single biggest upgrade available.
  • Avoid the glowing hazard bits entirely. They drain health fast and appear near platforms you actually need.
  • On moving platforms, wait for the platform to come to you before jumping.
  • When crawling through tight gaps, just commit and keep moving. Stopping halfway gets you stuck.
  • Pull out your squishy between tough sections. Squishing it for a few seconds genuinely helps you reset.

Is Needoh Tower Worth Playing?

Yes, especially right now while the Needoh trend is at its peak. The game is free to play and the double jump pass is the only purchase that meaningfully changes the experience. Even without it, you can still climb the whole tower. It just takes a little longer.

What makes Needoh Tower stand out from other obbies is how much care went into the visual details. The squishy deformation animations, the sound design, the color-coded sections, and the collectible toy system all add up to something that feels genuinely thoughtful. It is not trying to be the hardest obby on the platform. It is trying to be the most satisfying one. And it mostly succeeds.

We had a genuinely great time climbing it, collecting squishies, and going absolutely chaotic in Part Two. If you are already obsessed with the real toys, you will feel right at home. And if you have never touched a Needoh in your life, this game might be the thing that convinces you to go find one.
