Survive Homelander Roblox – Complete Guide to Controls, Tips, and Winning Every Round

If you have been looking for a Roblox game that keeps you on your toes from the very first second, Survive Homelander is exactly that. Inspired by the hit series The Boys, this hide-and-hunt experience drops us inside Vought Tower. One player becomes the near-invincible Homelander, armed with flight, heat vision, and Super Vision. The rest of us play as survivors from The Boys, with nothing but our legs, a phone, and our wits. The goal is simple: survive for 4 minutes and 40 seconds, or hunt everyone down before the timer runs out. Simple on paper, brutal in practice.

We have put together this complete guide to help you understand every mechanic, master every control, and walk away from each round either alive or as the most feared supe in the tower.

What Happens in a Match

The game pits a group of survivors against a near-invincible supe. The primary objective for survivors is to outlast the timer, while the hunter must eliminate every player before time expires. Every player has an equal chance of being chosen as Homelander at the start of each round. However, if you want to tilt the odds in your favor, spending 20 Robux dramatically increases your chances of spawning as the hunter.

Anyone playing as a survivor can sprint away and whip out their phones to record Homelander’s actions for the world to see. Recording him on camera can actually slow him down and cost him in-game credits, which makes your phone far more useful than it first appears. Beyond running and hiding, a vial of Compound V can be found in certain rooms, though it is largely luck of the draw. Finding it changes everything about your round.

Controls You Must Know

Before you play your first match, understanding the controls is not optional. It is survival. Survive Homelander uses standard Roblox controls with a few key additions that are critical to learn before your first match. The most important of these is the crouch mechanic. It is the difference between living and getting lasered in the first 30 seconds.

Here are the core controls every survivor needs to remember:

  • W A S D to move around the tower
  • Ctrl to crouch and move silently
  • Shift to sprint, but only when Homelander is far away
  • Space to jump, used sparingly as it creates noise
  • F or Click to use your phone or interact with objects
  • Tab to see who is still alive and the last known teammate positions

Crouching with Ctrl lets survivors move quietly and enables them to hide from Homelander’s Super Vision ability. It is one of the most important tools for staying alive when the hunter is actively scanning. We cannot stress this enough. The moment you hear that Super Vision sound, you press Ctrl, and you stop moving completely.

How Super Vision Works (And How to Beat It)

What makes Survive Homelander stand out is Homelander’s Super Vision ability, a scan that can see survivors through walls if they are moving or standing upright. This one mechanic changes everything about how you play.

The good news is that Super Vision has a clear counter. When activated, it allows Homelander to see through walls and structures in a wide radius. However, it only reveals players who are moving or standing upright. A crouched, stationary survivor is effectively invisible.

Learning to read Super Vision timing is the single biggest skill gap between new players and experienced survivors. Listen for the activation sound cue, then immediately crouch and freeze, not just slow down, but fully stop. Even slowly crawling during a Super Vision scan can reveal your position if you are in an open area. Once you hear the scan end, wait two more seconds before moving again, as Homelander often reactivates it immediately to catch survivors who relax too early.

This is where most new players fail. They panic, they run, and they get spotted instantly. We have seen it happen countless times. Calm down, crouch, and let him pass.

Survivor Strategies That Actually Work

Smart positioning beats fast movement every time in this game. As a beginner in Survive Homelander, staying near the spawn is how most new players get eliminated first. Move immediately to a different floor using stairs or elevators. Do not stand still. Crouch as you explore. Look for office cubicles, under desks, behind filing cabinets, or in server rooms.

Teamwork is a huge factor. Stick close enough to your squad that nobody gets isolated, but spread out just enough that one scan does not wipe your entire group. Use zigzag movements in open hallways, and save your sprint for emergencies only.

If you have Compound V, consider using your laser eyes to create a distraction. Fire a shot in one direction, then immediately move in another to throw Homelander off your trail. This can buy crucial time for teammates or yourself. This is an advanced tip that most players never think of. Use the powers offensively, not just defensively.

Temp V vials scattered across the map can give us temporary powers from the The Boys universe. Getting the Translucent ability, for example, makes us invisible for around 45 seconds. That alone can save a round. The catch is that wandering the map too aggressively to find Temp V is risky, so only hunt for it if you know where Homelander is.

How to Play as Homelander

When we get the Homelander role, we need to switch our entire mindset immediately. We are the threat now, and every second of hesitation gives survivors more time to coordinate.

Homelander features flight, laser eyes, and wall destruction. Use flight to scout large sections of the tower quickly, then dive down on isolated targets. Break up survivor groups early in the round, because a coordinated group of survivors is much harder to eliminate than scattered individuals.

One thing worth knowing from experience: the heat vision and your crosshair are not always perfectly aligned, which makes taking aim tricky. Aim carefully, and use the Super Vision scan to locate players before committing to a chase. Prioritize using Super Vision in sweeping patterns, checking floor by floor. Focus on open areas first, as survivors who have not mastered crouching will often still be running.

Also, remember that heat vision has a cooldown period. Do not spam it. Use it with intention, especially when you have someone cornered with no escape route. Methodical searching beats chaotic chasing. Do not waste time randomly flying. Use Super Vision to narrow down survivor locations efficiently.

Active Codes for Free Credits

Credits are the in-game currency we use to unlock cosmetics, skin cases, and even new characters. Homelander is available for free to all players, while Stormfront is an Early Access character that requires a game pass or 1,500 credits to unlock.

Redeeming codes is the fastest way to build up credits without grinding. Here are the currently active codes:

  • SUPEBRAWL – 75 free credits
  • HOMELANDER – free credits
  • BUGS – free credits

To redeem, launch Survive Homelander in Roblox, press the Codes button in the top menu while in the Lobby, input a code into the Enter Code Here box, and hit Redeem to collect your freebies. All codes are case-sensitive, so type them exactly as shown above.

One Final Thought

Survive Homelander is a game that rewards patience far more than speed. The survivors who last the full round are the ones who crouch, listen, and think. Master the Super Vision counter, use your phone strategically, grab Temp V when it is safe to do so, and communicate with your team. Do that, and we promise your survival rate will jump dramatically. See you in Vought Tower.
