How to go to the Trading Hub in Adopt Me
Getting to the Trading Hub takes a few steps, and not every account will have access right away. Here is what we need before we can travel there.
- Unlock the Trading Phone for free through the Guide by playing for two hours
- Complete the Trade License in the Safety Hub
- Own at least one Neon pet
The Neon pet requirement trips up a lot of newer players. If we do not already have four of the same pet, the fastest fix is opening eggs until we collect enough. Once we age that pet to full grown and combine four copies, it becomes Neon and unlocks the phone.
Once we have the Trading Phone in our toy inventory, we simply tap it and choose to travel. A hot air balloon carries us straight to the Trading Hub. From there we can post listings, search for trades, and check our offers, all in one location.
What the Trading Phone can actually do
The phone is not just a travel ticket. We can use it in any regular server to check existing listings, review trade offers, and look back at our trade history. That said, creating new listings or editing old ones only works once we are physically inside the Trading Hub itself.
Inside the hub, two robot characters handle most of the work. One lets us post what we are offering and what we want in return. The other helps us search listings by pet name, which makes hunting for a specific dream pet far easier than before.
Posting a listing the smart way
When we post a listing, we choose the pet we are trading away and describe what we hope to receive. It sounds simple, but the listing only works if we are realistic about value. Asking for a Bat Dragon in exchange for a common pet will just sit there untouched.
A smarter approach is searching the pet we want to trade before we list it. We can see what other players are already offering for the same pet. That gives us a real sense of fair value instead of guessing blindly.
The developers also added guardrails that block extremely unbalanced offers from going through. This does not create an official value chart, but it does stop obvious lowball attempts and spam offers. Nobody wants to see a sandwich offered for a Shadow Dragon, and now the system filters most of that out automatically.
Searching for your dream pet
This is where the update really shines. If we already know which pet we want, we can search it directly and see every current listing asking for it. Players often list several pets they would accept in return, which gives us multiple paths toward the same goal.
We recommend checking a few listings before committing to an offer. Some trades on the board are far more generous than others, and comparing a handful takes only a minute. Once we find one that looks fair, we simply put in an offer using a pet from our own inventory.
A quick warning worth repeating: offers are accepted automatically once the other player agrees. There is no confirmation screen after that point. We should only send offers we are genuinely happy to complete, since the pet leaves our inventory the moment it gets accepted.
Why this update matters for traders
Trading has always been one of the most social parts of Adopt Me, but it also created friction for newer or younger players who did not know where to start. The Trading Hub lowers that barrier significantly. It gives everyone a visible, searchable board instead of relying purely on luck and timing.
Experienced traders still have the option to trade the classic way through trade requests and trading stands.
