Dress to Impress has added a treasure hunt that sends players digging around the map for buried chests. No arrows or markers are pointing you anywhere. You need to know the right spots. Getting into the hunt only takes a minute. Open Dress to Impress and load into a Freeplay server through the teleport option in the menu. From there, walk out of the dressing room and head toward the beach.

• A Freeplay server, since the chests do not appear in ranked or normal rounds
• No specific outfit or Robux purchase required
• A basic sense of the beach and town layout, since the hunt covers both areas

Once you are outside and near the sand, you are ready to start. The chests themselves are buried, so nothing will look obvious until you get close to each spot.

All 7 Chest Locations You Need to Find

Three chests sit on the beach, and four are hidden through the town. We recommend doing the beach chests first since they sit closer to your spawn point.

The first chest sits right where the sand meets the water, close to where Scarlet Fierce stands. Walk along the shoreline until you reach the pool area with the green water slide, and you will find the second dig spot on the sand nearby.

For the third chest, head to the tunnel connecting the beach to the town and climb the raised ledge above the entrance. That height is important, since the chest will not appear if you stay on the lower path.

Once you cross into town, the remaining four chests are tucked around buildings rather than sitting in open spaces. Walk to the yellow building covered in flags and circle to its back side for chest four.

Head to the main entrance next and check underneath the wooden stairs for chest five.

For chest six, squeeze into the narrow grassy alley between two houses standing side by side. Finish at the pink building, where the last dig spot sits under a wooden structure beside it.

A small counter appears on your screen the moment you dig up the first chest. It climbs from one out of seven all the way to seven out of seven once you finish the loop.

How Digging and Rewards Work

Digging itself is simple. Stand on the exact spot and hold E until the ground clears and the chest appears. You then hold the same button again to claim whatever is inside.

Rewards are random every time, so two players opening the same chest will not always get identical drops. Expect small amounts of cash or stars rather than big payouts, since this hunt focuses more on completion than loot value. That randomness actually works in your favor if you replay the hunt across different sessions, since your total earnings add up even from small drops.

Tips to Finish the Hunt Faster

A few small habits make the run smoother and cut down on wasted time. We have tested this loop enough times to know where most players get stuck.

• Do the three beach chests first, since they sit close together
• Double-check the ledge above the tunnel, since it gets missed most often
• Move around a dig spot slightly if E does not register, since exact positioning matters
• Watch the chat for server restart warnings, since Freeplay servers cycle on their own
• Finish nearby chests first if a restart warning appears mid-run

If your counter gets stuck below seven, you likely walked past a dig spot instead of standing directly on it. Going back to the beach chests usually solves the problem, since the ledge chest is the easiest one to skip on a straight run.

Don’t Confuse It With the Scarlet Treasure Hunt

Dress to Impress also runs a separate event called the Scarlet Treasure Hunt, and players often mix the two up. That hunt also uses seven chests, but every single one sits within the beach area near Scarlet’s starting point. Instead of cash or stars, those chests reward pieces of the Scarlet Fierce outfit set, or cash if you already own the full set.

If your counter caps out at five chests instead of seven, you are likely on a different, older version of the hunt tied to the gem and Trident quest line, which asks you to collect colored gems around the map before a cave door on the beach even opens. Knowing which hunt you are actually doing saves you from digging in the wrong spots and getting confused rewards.

Once you know all seven locations from the shoreline to the pink building, the treasure hunt becomes a quick task you can finish in a single loop. Keep this layout in mind next time you load into Freeplay, and you will clear it without missing a single chest.
