Talk to Janus once you find him. He will ask for help getting into the office next door, and he mentions an old file he needs pulled from an outdated system.

• Walk into the yellow building beside the mansion through its front entrance
• Grab the key sitting near the desk and bookshelves
• Head to the locked rear door of that same building
• Interact with the door to unlock it and step inside

The key does not come to you. You have to go find it yourself, and it sits in plain sight once you are inside. Opening the rear door plays a short cutscene showing the office beyond it.
