Ride a Pet Blackhole Egg – Every Spawn Location You Need to Check

The Blackhole Egg is one of the rarest eggs in Ride a Pet. It sits in the Ethereal rarity tier, the same tier as the Cherub Egg. Because it is so rare, it does not sit in one fixed spot on the map. Instead, it spawns randomly across a handful of set locations every time the game triggers it. Once it appears, a message flashes at the top of your screen. That is your cue to stop whatever you are doing and move.

We know how frustrating it feels to see that message and have no clue where to run. Most players waste their first thirty seconds just deciding where to check. That delay usually costs them the egg. This guide fixes that by giving you a clear route to follow every single time.

How to Know When the Blackhole Egg Has Spawned

You will see an on-screen announcement the moment the egg drops into the world. From that point, every player on the server is racing toward the same handful of spots. The egg does not last forever, and someone else can grab it before you even load into the right zone. Speed matters more than anything else here.

A few things help before the egg even spawns:

  • Keep your fastest pet equipped at all times, ideally a flying type
  • Stay near the center of the map so you can reach any zone quickly
  • Zoom your camera out so you spot eggs sitting on ledges or branches

Best Spots to Check First

Two things are true about this egg. Some players report it spawning across an open route that runs from the overworld into the giant tree, desert, and waterfall zones. Others point to a smaller, fixed set of spots that repeat every time. Both patterns show up because Ride a Pet has gone through map updates, and spawn behavior shifts with each one. The safest approach is to treat both sets as valid and sweep through them in order.

Start at the spawn area in the overworld. Check the starter shop, the mutation ranch, and the food vendor nearby. These sit close together, so a quick loop through all four takes only seconds. Do not linger even if the egg is not there. Move straight to the next zone.

Giant Tree Zone Locations

The giant tree zone punishes players who only look at ground level. Climb to the top and check the small room built into the tree trunk. Right after that, scan the lower branches on either side. Many players skip this step because the branches are easy to miss from a distance.

Once you are done at the top, drop down and check the wood egg stand and the food cart near it. Then look underneath the main trunk. The area beneath the roots is one of the most overlooked spots on the map, so it’s worth checking every time.

Cave and Waterfall Locations

Head toward the river and follow it upstream until you hit a waterfall. Behind that waterfall sits a hidden cave, and the egg spawns inside it fairly often. Once you clear the cave, climb up to the opening at the far end. Two more spots sit right there, one on each side of the exit.

The waterfall zone also hides a grotto tucked behind the main pool. Most players run straight past it because the waterfall itself looks like the whole attraction. Check the bridge that crosses toward deeper water too, along with the basin near the aquatic egg station. These three spots cover almost every corner of the zone.

Desert and Pyramid Locations

The desert zone hides the egg inside the pyramid more often than players expect. Walk into the small opening and look around before leaving. Right next to the pyramid, you will find a pond. Jump into it, and you will drop into a maze-like area underground. The egg can spawn in any corner down there, so take a full loop instead of guessing.

Do not skip the oasis market or the sandstorm ridge on your way to the pyramid. Both sit along the natural path through the desert, so checking them costs you almost no extra time.

Tips to Grab the Egg Before Anyone Else

If you have the coins, buying an Ethereal Radar changes everything. It points straight to any active Ethereal egg on the map, which removes all the guesswork. It costs a fair amount, so it makes more sense once you are further along and have coins to spare.

A few habits make a real difference over time:

  • Do not stop to collect random items while hunting the egg
  • Circle every structure fully instead of only checking the front
  • Learn the fastest path between zones so you waste no time traveling
  • Switch servers if you keep missing the egg on the same one

Final Thoughts

The Blackhole Egg rewards players who move fast and check the right spots without wasting time. Treat every announcement as a race, follow a set route through the giant tree, cave, desert, and waterfall zones, and check hidden corners before assuming someone beat you to it. Do this a few times, and the route becomes second nature. Before long, you will be the one grabbing the egg while everyone else is still deciding where to run.
