Ride a Pet Halloween Update – Candy, Tokens, and Egg Guide

Ride a Pet has launched its Halloween update, and we think it is the biggest event the game has run so far. Update 4 went live on October 10, 2026. It adds a spooky event zone, a brand-new currency, and a limited egg with huge luck. We checked the patch notes and tested the details so you can plan your grind. Let us start with the basics.

What Is New in the Ride a Pet Halloween Update

The main addition is a dark Halloween zone with red ground, twisted trees, jack-o’-lanterns, and a corn maze. You do not hunt for eggs the usual way here. Instead, you collect candy and trade it for Halloween Tokens. The update also adds the game’s first ritual, which suggests deeper systems may arrive later. Balance changes focus on Cerberus and Kitsune, and several hatch chances now look better for players.

Here is the quick summary of what we get:

  • 10 new pets, 1 new secret pet, and 3 new Ethereal pets
  • Two new pets in the Volcanic Egg
  • Better odds for Dragon, Griffin, Black Hole, and Solarius eggs
  • A limited Halloween Egg that costs 350 Halloween Tokens

How to Enter the Halloween Zone

Look for the large hollow pumpkin tree near the main ranch. From spawn, head behind the Gears Shop and you will find the entrance. Step through, and the bright overworld turns into a dark map. The patch notes point to your first Rebirth as the way in. If the portal does not open for you, finish that Rebirth first.

How to Get Candy in Ride a Pet

Candy is the core of this event. Every piece you deliver turns into Halloween Tokens at the Drop Off Candy station, which sits next to the entrance cauldron. We found three reliable ways to collect it.

  • Pick candy up from the ground across the zone
  • Trick or Treat at the houses left of the drop-off
  • Search the spoiled pumpkins at the far end of the zone

Ground candy is the easiest start. Pieces spawn along trails, tunnels, and the map edges. Trick or Treat works well too, but each door gives candy or nothing. A short cooldown follows every knock. We suggest rotating between doors instead of waiting at one.

Spoiled pumpkins pay best. Search them, and you get large amounts of high-rarity candy. That makes them the fastest route to tokens, even though the walk is longer.

Curses, Spoil Timers, and Token Rates

Picking up candy starts a “Candy Will Spoil” countdown. It also triggers a curse. You may see upside-down vision, a dark spotlight, spiral distortion, reversed controls, or glitch jumpscares every second or two. Stay calm and follow the green arrow with the house icon. It leads you straight to the drop-off.

Rarer candy pays up to 12 tokens each, but it spoils faster. Do the math before you commit. One Halloween Egg needs 350 tokens, so you need about 30 top-tier pieces. A spoiled rare piece wastes the whole trip. If the drop-off is far, a safe common piece beats a risky rare one.

How to Get the Halloween Egg

Visit the Halloween Eggs stall and pay 350 tokens per egg. It costs no Robux. The egg carries 1 trillion base luck, so every hatch lands on a high-rarity pet. That is why we think the token grind is worth the effort.

You can also buy the Premium Halloween Egg in the shop with Robux. It hatches instantly. One roll costs 60 Robux, five rolls cost 280, and 50 rolls cost 2,800. The bundle saving is only about 7 percent, so we would not buy big packs just for the discount.

A Large Halloween Egg can also spawn in the world. A server banner shows its weight, and an “Egg Will Break” timer starts once you pick it up. Reach a nest before time runs out, or the egg disappears. A flying mount like Phoenix helps a lot here. Halloween Eggs can also drop as loot inside the event zone, but those drops are very rare.

Smart Tips to Farm Faster

Speed decides how many tokens you earn. The best candy sits far from the cauldron, so your mount matters more than your luck. We follow a simple routine every session:

  • Mount Kitsune or another fast pet before you enter the zone
  • Visit the spoiled pumpkins first for high-rarity candy
  • Loop the outer edges, then return to the cauldron
  • Bank 350 tokens early, since the egg is limited

Ride a Pet has no code system, so ignore any site that promises Halloween codes. Candy is the only path. Once your new pets hatch, you may end up with spare duplicates. Our Ride a Pet Fuse Machine guide explains how to turn them into rare pets, so check it before you sell anything.

Final Thoughts

The Halloween update gives Ride a Pet a fresh loop, and we enjoy how the curses add real risk. Plan your routes, respect the spoil timer, and start banking tokens today. Share your best hatch with us in the comments.
