Free Fire has more than 30 playable characters in the game, and each of them comes with a unique ability to survive the battleground differently. But the game has taken the character system to new heights by introducing real-life inspired characters to the game.

1. Kelly
Kelly character of Free Fire is one of the most popular characters in the game. She is inspired by the character ‘TAKAKO CHIGUSA’ from the Japanese film “BATTLE ROYALE” released in 2000. The film was linked with the genre of the game, making Kelly a perfect character to be introduced in the game.

2. Kapella
Kapella looks like a K-POP star from her appearance to her movements. The character is not inspired by a real-life character, but it is still on the list because after introducing this character to the game, developers created it in real life. Garena hired two singers to make an official clip in the character’s cloth and colors. The name of these singers are: JAM and NOEY, and are identical.

3. Kla
KLA is one of the most classic characters of the game. He is inspired by Thai martial arts master ‘TONY JAA’ who appeared in the “ONG-BAK: MUAY THAI WARRIOR’ film. The inspiration can clearly be seen from the physical aspects of the posture of the character.

5. Misha
Misha is one of the most famous drivers on the Free Fire’s battleground. She is not inspired by a real-life character but is still inspired by a character from another game. Misha is inspired by CINDY from the FINAL FANTASY game franchise. In both games, the functions of the character are similar.
Misha character in Free Fire comes with a passive skill called ‘Afterburner.’ It increases the driving speed, makes it hard to hit the character while in the vehicle, and decreases the damage taken.

6. Rafael
Rafael is another character inspired by the character of another game. If you ever got the chance to experience HITMAN, also known as “Silent Killer,” you can recognize Rafael at first sight. He is inspired by Agent 47, the most famous assassin in the gaming world.

Alok is one of the most popular characters of Free Fire. He is inspired by the Brazilian musician ‘DJ ALOK PETRILLO.’ DJ Alok, in real life, has participated in-person in the Free Fire World Championship, 2019, at Rio De Janeiro. He also contributed to the theme song ‘Vale Vale,’ and even he transfers all the income he gets from the game character for the charity work.

K character of Free Fire is based on the music producer and DJ NILES HOLLOWELL-DHAR, popularly known by his stage name DJ KSHMR. Garena even released an official music video titled ‘One More Round’ as a part of the Free Fire x KSHMR collaboration.
K character in Free Fire comes with an active skill called ‘Master of All.’ It increases the maximum HP of the character. Other effects of the special ability depend upon the mode.

13. MaroÂ
Maro is yet to make its appearance in the game as a playable character, but it is also inspired by a real-life character. He is inspired by Mohamed Ramadan, an Egyptian actor, singer, rapper, dancer, and producer.
Maro character in Free Fire comes with a passive skill called ‘Falcon Fervor.’ It increases the character’s damage to enemies with distance and increases the damage to marked enemies.
