The Leprechaun Line is one of the most coveted rods to come out of any seasonal update in Roblox Fisch. Introduced via the St. Patrick’s Day event update on March 14, 2026, it is a limited-time rod with high Luck and a Lucky Gold passive ability. This is not a rod you can buy or unlock with a code. It is obtainable only during Shamrock Seas and requires completing the Clover Captain’s quests, which in turn demand that all other Leprechaun quests be completed first. If you are ready to put in the work, this guide covers every step.
What Is the Shamrock Express and Where Do You Find It?

Before you can start any of the quests, you need to locate the Shamrock Express. This is a brand-new boat added as part of the St. Patrick’s Day update. Unlike static points of interest, the Shamrock Express is always in motion, circling continuously across the entire map. It does not despawn, so you will eventually find it by watching the map. Once you board it, look for the Clover Captain, the NPC who manages the main questline leading to the Leprechaun Line rod.
The Clover Captain Questline

To obtain the Leprechaun Line rod, players must complete all the quests on the Shamrock Express offered by the Clover Captain and the various Leprechauns on the ship. The Captain’s own questline has five stages, and completing each one unlocks the next.
Quest 1: A Bit of Luck
- Task: Obtain 1 Gold Coin
- You can obtain Gold Coins by interacting with the Pot of Gold that spawns on a tiny island next to the Rainbow during the Lucky Rainbow Event. You can expect a Rainbow to spawn every 15 minutes on the server.
- When a rainbow appears, head to its end on the map. A small island will appear with a Pot of Gold. Interact with it up to five times to collect coins.
- Reward: 1 Luck Potion
Quest 2: Lucky Waters
- Task: Bring any 3 St. Patrick’s Day limited-time fish
- You can fish at the Lucky Gold Pool that spawns during the Rainbow Event to catch any three different types of St. Patrick’s Day fish, including Shamrock Salmon, Clover Carp, Rainbow Ribbonfish, Fortune Flounder, Rainbow Leviathan, and others from the Shamrock Seas Bestiary.
- Once all five Gold Coins from the Pot of Gold are collected, the small island disappears and a fishing pool opens up at the same location. Fish there for your three catches.
- Reward: 25 Clover Cluster
Quest 3: True Fortune

- Task: Obtain 1 Four-Leaf Clover
- This is where the grind begins. Four-Leaf Clovers are rare spawns that appear on any island with green grass across the map, including Moosewood, Terrapin, Sunstone, Forsaken, and Roslet. There are no fixed spawn locations. A new clover appears roughly every two to three minutes somewhere on the server, and each one despawns after about 30 minutes. At any given moment, there are likely five to ten clovers scattered across the entire map.
- The only method is exploration on foot. Walk the green areas of islands and look carefully for the distinctive four-leaf clover icon on the ground. Pick it up and return to the Captain.
- Reward: Clover Leaf Title
Quest 4: End of the Rainbow
- Task: Obtain 1 Rainbow Leviathan
- You can reel in a Rainbow Leviathan by fishing at the Lucky Rainbow or Golden Lucky Rainbow pool.
- For efficiency, use a rod with high luck. A luck potion combined with a high-luck rod like the Astria Serenade will dramatically improve your catch rate. The Rainbow Leviathan is a limited fish that only appears in the Shamrock Seas bestiary pool, so timing your session around an active rainbow event is essential.
- Reward: Secret Rainbow Boat
Quest 5: Master of Luck
This is the final and most demanding stage. The last Captain Clover Quest requires you to finish all 12 Leprechaun Quests on the ship. Once all 12 are completed, return to the Captain and the Leprechaun Line rod is yours.
All 12 Leprechaun Quests: Full Breakdown
The Shamrock Express carries 12 Leprechaun NPCs, each with their own task. Here is what each one needs and how to complete it.
Leprechaun Larry: Collect 3 Gold Coins from the Pot of Gold during any Rainbow Event.
Leprechaun Lenny: Catch 5 Rainbow Ribbonfish inside the Lucky Gold Pool. Using Gold Worm as your primary bait is recommended to catch Ribbonfish faster.
Leprechaun Liam: Catch and return one Shamrock Hunt fish. This can be a Shamrock Scylla, Megalodon, Kraken, Bloop Fish, or Leviathan.
Leprechaun Lucas: Obtain 2 Clover Carp and 3 Four-Leaf Clovers. The Clover Carp is caught at the Lucky Gold Pool, while the clovers require the ground search method described above.
Leprechaun Logan: Catch 1 Lucky Gold Fortune Flounder and 1 Lucky Gold Rainbow Leviathan. Fish inside the Lucky Gold Pool and use Lucky or Clover Cluster as your primary baits. The Lucky Gloves item can help apply the Lucky Gold mutation.
Leprechaun Lawrence: Collect 3 Shamrock Salmon, 1 Clover Carp, 1 Rainbow Ribbonfish, 1 Fortune Flounder, and 1 Rainbow Leviathan. All of these come from the Lucky Gold Pool during a Rainbow Event.
Leprechaun Lachlan: Catch and return any one Lucky Gold mutated Shamrock Hunt fish. This combines the hunt condition with the mutation requirement, so bring the Lucky Gloves.
Leprechaun Luka: Catch 1 Shamrock Kraken. This requires visiting the Atlantis pool during a Shamrock Kraken Hunt, which has a 25% chance to spawn when using a Kraken Hunt Totem.
Leprechaun Leo: Catch 1 Shamrock Megalodon. Head to the Ancient Isle during a Shamrock Megalodon Hunt, which also has a 25% chance to spawn using a Megalodon Hunt Totem.
Leprechaun Levi: Catch 1 Shamrock Bloop Fish. Wait until the Shamrock Bloop Fish Hunt occurs in the Ocean and then fish using Luminous Larva.
Leprechaun Landon: Catch 1 Shamrock Scylla. Fish at the Veil of the Forsaken pool during a Shamrock Scylla Hunt and use Shark Head Bait to speed up the process.
Leprechaun Louis: Catch 1 Shamrock Leviathan. Wait until the Shamrock Leviathan Hunt occurs and then visit the Cultist Lair. Fishing with Luminous Larva helps complete this quest faster.
The Shamrock Hunt variants of Megalodon, Kraken, Scylla, Bloop Fish, and Leviathan each have roughly a 25% chance to appear whenever the corresponding Hunt Totem or trigger item is used. You will need to repeat these hunts multiple times across the questline since several Leprechauns ask for the same fish types.
Leprechaun Line Rod Stats
Once all 12 Leprechaun quests and all 5 Clover Captain quests are done, the rod is awarded. Here are the full stats:
- Lure Speed: 30%
- Luck: 350%
- Resilience: 14%
- Max Weight: 14,000 kg
- Control: 0
The rod’s very high luck stat will help you catch high-rarity fish and items in challenging areas. Its passive has a 10% chance to apply the Lucky Gold Mutation to a fish, which carries a price multiplier of x6.14, making it one of the best rods to farm money inside the game.
The in-game description reads: “A rod made of solid gold and pure luck, straight from the Leprechaun’s and St. Patrick’s spirit!” and notes that it may increase server luck and grant the Lucky Gold mutation.
For enchantments, pairing this rod with Herculan for added control or Overclocked for faster lure speed can make up for its zero base control, creating a very well-rounded setup for luck-dependent fishing runs.
Tips to Speed Up the Grind
The Leprechaun Line questline is intentionally time-consuming. It can take anywhere from 10 hours to even 3 days to complete, largely because there are nearly 15 quests and most of them require either the Lucky Gold Pool or the Shamrock version of hunts. These tips can help reduce that window:
- Always fish during Rainbow Events. The Rainbow Event spawns every 15 minutes in the game, along with the Lucky Gold Pool, where you can catch most of the Shamrock Seas bestiary fish. Plan your sessions around this timer.
- Stack luck bonuses. Use a Luck Potion, an Aurora if available, and your highest-luck rod while fishing at the Lucky Gold Pool. This significantly increases your chances of landing rare fish like the Rainbow Leviathan quickly.
- Keep Hunt Totems in stock. The Shamrock Hunt variants required by several Leprechaun quests only have a 25% trigger rate. Having multiple Hunt Totems on hand means less time waiting between attempts.
- Search multiple islands for Four-Leaf Clovers. You need a total of four clovers across the questline (one for the Captain and three for Leprechaun Lucas). Cover green-grassed islands like Moosewood and Terrapin regularly, as clovers despawn after 30 minutes.
- Use recommended bait per hunt. Shark Head Bait for Scylla, Luminous Larva for Bloop Fish and Leviathan, and Gold Worm for Ribbonfish all make specific quests noticeably faster.
Is the Leprechaun Line Worth It?
For players who want the strongest luck-focused rod currently in the game, the answer is yes. The 350% luck stat sits among the highest in all of Fisch, and the Lucky Gold passive makes it a powerful money-farming tool in addition to its stat advantages. Its festive green-and-white appearance with shamrock decorations and a pot-of-gold charm topped with a small green leprechaun hat also makes it one of the most visually distinctive rods in the game.
It is worth noting that this rod is limited to the Shamrock Seas event. Version 1.75, which launched on March 14, 2026, introduced the Shamrock Seas event alongside it. Once the event ends, the Leprechaun Line will no longer be obtainable, so players aiming for it should prioritize completing the questline before the window closes.
