If you have been playing Escape Tsunami For Brainrots and feel like everyone else is progressing faster than you, trust us, we have been there. We made all the classic beginner mistakes, grabbed the wrong brainrots, bought the wrong speed upgrades, and wondered why our income barely moved. After a lot of testing and grinding, we finally cracked the code. Here is everything we know about farming brainrots as fast as possibl
Stop Grabbing the First Brainrot You See

This is the single biggest mistake we see beginners make, and honestly, it is the same mistake we made ourselves. The moment you spawn in, it is tempting to just grab whatever brainrot is closest. Do not do it.
Those early brainrots sitting near spawn are almost always generating just a few dollars per second. We are talking $4 or $11 a second at best. Picking those up wastes your carry slot and your time. Instead, run past them. Go as deep into the map as you can before grabbing anything. You want brainrots that generate at least $10,000 to $25,000 per second. That difference sounds small at first, but it snowballs incredibly fast. The brainrot we grabbed early on in our first proper run was earning $14,000 a second, and by the time we looped back it had already generated nearly $900,000 for us. That is the power of starting with the right unit.
The crevices and waiting spots deeper in the map are your friends. Use them. Park yourself there, wait for high-value brainrots to appear, and only then pick one up.
How to Buy Speed the Smart Way

Once you have some income coming in, your next job is to upgrade your speed. Most players just buy the cheapest speed upgrade available, and that is exactly why they stay slow. Here is what we learned the hard way:
- Never buy the +1 speed upgrade. It looks affordable, but it gives you almost nothing per coin spent.
- Always save up for the +5 speed or the +10 speed upgrade at the speed store.
- The +10 speed upgrade costs significantly more but gives you dramatically more speed per purchase. It is always the best bang for your buck, no matter what level you are at.
We currently have a speed level of 177, and almost every point of that came from stacking +10 speed purchases. It is more expensive in the short term, but your long-term progression is far faster this way. Spend a little more and save a lot of time.
Events Are Where the Real Money Is

If you are not using events to farm, you are leaving the biggest gains on the table. There are three events you should always be watching for.
The Radioactive Event is one of the most consistent ways to upgrade your brainrots. During this event, look out for the Bombardiro, which is an airplane-crocodile creature that patrols the sky and drops nuclear bombs. Destroy those bombs with your baseball bat and they shower the ground with Radioactive Coins. There is no cap on how many you can collect this way. We have also found a secret tunnel during this event, accessible through a busted gate on the map perimeter. It is a timed entry, so move fast. Inside is a parkour obby where you can claim a free Radioactive Lucky Block once per weather cycle.
The Celestial and Cosmic Events are what you want to watch the countdown for at all times. When a celestial event appears, the map fills with lucky blocks and rare spawns. The cosmic lucky blocks in particular can give you brainrots worth hundreds of thousands per second. We grabbed one during a celestial event and pulled a brainrot generating 300,000 per second. That single pick-up changed our entire run.
The Phantom Event is the newest and arguably the most powerful event in the game right now. Orbs spawn across the map in three colors: green (1 point), purple (3 points), and red (10 points). You collect them and deposit them into the phantom cannon on the pirate ship. The more you deposit, the higher the reward tier you unlock. You can actually earn an Infinity brainrot just by placing well on the event leaderboard. Focus on the red and purple orbs. They are worth far more than the green ones, and your time is better spent chasing them.
A key insight we picked up: always do events during Admin Abuse sessions. The developers frequently spawn in extra coins, lucky blocks, and celestial brainrots during these sessions. Things appear that simply do not show up in a regular server. Playing during these windows multiplies everything you earn.
Galaxy and Magma Traits: The New Layer of Progression

This is something a lot of players are sleeping on. The game now has a Traits system, and it adds an entirely new income stream on top of your regular earnings. Right now there are two traits: Galaxy and Magma.
Brainrots with the Galaxy trait generate Galaxy Coins passively over time. Brainrots with the Magma trait generate Magma Coins. The higher the rarity of your brainrot and the higher its level, the more of these special coins it earns per second. We have seen a leveled-up rare with both traits earning over 80 Galaxy Coins and 80 Magma Coins per second simultaneously, on top of billions in regular currency.
To get these traits, you need to pick up brainrots during the Galaxy Zone or Magma events. During the Galaxy Zone event, large planets crash into the map and transform nearby brainrots by applying the Galaxy mutation. When you see the notification at the top of the screen showing the event location, go there immediately.
Why does this matter? Both currencies are accepted at the Mystery Merchant for some of the best items in the game, including skins and passes that are not available anywhere else. Start building your Galaxy and Magma coin income early, because the best items cost a lot.
The Duplication Trick and the ATM Machine

One of the most powerful tools in the game that most beginners do not know about is the ATM machine. If you have a good brainrot and some spare cash, you can put it through the ATM to try and duplicate it. The success rate is not 100%, sometimes you get your money returned, but when it works, you now have two copies of a brainrot you worked hard to get.
We do this regularly while waiting for event timers to reset. It costs some in-game currency, but doubling a divine-tier brainrot is absolutely worth it. If you have a divine, just one is enough to start with. Dupe it over and over, and suddenly you have multiple high-earning units placed at your base generating passive income around the clock.
Trade Tokens and the Mystery Merchant
Trade tokens are the premium currency you want to stack up. You can earn them for free through the Arcade Event. When that event is live, tickets spawn across the map. Pick them up constantly and run them back to the arcade machine inside the event area. Every 3 tickets spent gives you somewhere between 2 and 12 trade tokens back. We managed 81 tickets in just 10 minutes during one Admin Abuse session, which translated into well over 100 trade tokens by the time we cycled through everything.
Use those tokens at the Mystery Merchant carefully. Some items are genuinely great deals. Others, especially the ones priced at thousands of tokens, are overpriced. The developers do occasionally stock excellent items like VIP passes and special divine brainrots at reasonable rates, but you need to be ready when they do. Having a solid stockpile of tokens means you can buy immediately without scrambling.
One last thing worth knowing: if you want to trade for Infinity brainrots, the Trading Plaza is a much better deal than buying them from the Mystery Merchant. We have seen infinities listed for around 300 to 400 tokens in the Trading Plaza, while the direct purchase option can cost close to 8,000 tokens. That is a massive gap, and a smart player always checks the plaza first.
Final Tips Before You Go
The fastest farmers in this game all follow the same system. They skip low-value brainrots near spawn, they save for +10 speed upgrades instead of wasting money on +1, and they treat every event as a priority. They farm Bombardiro bombs during Radioactive events, stack orbs during Phantom events, and keep an eye on Admin Abuse sessions for bonus spawns. They also build their base around duplication and traits, not just raw brainrot collection.
We are not going to pretend the grind is always easy. There are bad runs, failed duplications, and events where the luck just does not go your way. But if you stick to the system, your income will snowball in a way that makes the early slow phase feel very worth it.
Stick with it, play smart, and the numbers will follow.
