The Dragon’s Wish event has taken over Anime Expeditions, and everyone is chasing the same thing. Seven Wish Orbs are scattered across the game, and finding them is the only way to unlock the event’s biggest rewards. Some orbs sit in plain sight once you know where to look. Others need you to grind through a full quest list instead. We have put together everything you need to track down each orb without wasting time running in circles.
What Is the Dragon’s Wish Event in Anime Expeditions

The Dragon’s Wish event borrows its theme from classic anime lore, where gathering mystical orbs grants a powerful wish. In Anime Expeditions, that wish comes in the form of an Unbound Trait for any Dragon unit and an exclusive Fierce Dragon flying mount. You need all seven orbs before the redeem option unlocks, so missing even one keeps the reward locked. The developers are releasing the orbs gradually, roughly one per day, which means patience matters just as much as searching skill here.
If you are still building out your Dragon roster, it helps to already have a strong unit ready to receive the Unbound Trait. Our guide on how to get and evolve Trunks walks you through building one of the strongest units worth saving this trait for.
Wish Orb 1 Location: Anime Expeditions
Wish Orb 1 sits inside the East Town map, and you need that map unlocked before you can grab it. Spawn into East Town and head toward the enemy spawn point. From there, look to your left. You will spot two small huts with red and green roofs standing close together. Walk behind the hut with the green roof, and the orb will be waiting there as a glowing red ball.

Picking up this orb also completes one of the early Dragon’s Wish quests, so you get event coins and equipment rerolls just for finding it. If the orb does not appear right away, clear a few enemy waves first. It sometimes only becomes visible once you make progress through the map.
Wish Orb 2 Location Anime Expeditions
Unlike the first orb, Wish Orb 2 has no fixed spot on any map. You earn it by finishing a set of event quests instead. Head to the event page from the main menu and work through the following objectives:
- Complete three Expedition Encounter Nodes
- Clear fifty Infinity Tower waves
- Finish all daily quests once
- Summon fifty times on any active banner
- Obtain one unit equipment piece
- Win one round of Guess That Unit
- Land one hundred follow-up attacks with any unit
None of these tasks are difficult on their own, but the Encounter Node quest trips up a lot of players since it does not appear on every Expeditions map refresh. Keep reloading the map until the exclamation mark icon shows up, then repeat until you hit three completions. Once every quest is checked off, return to the event page and hit claim to add the orb to your inventory.
Wish Orb 3 location: Anime Expeditions
Wish Orb 3 is back on the East Town map, so you will not need to grind quests for this one. Follow the same path the enemies walk along after you spawn in. Push through the first turn until you reach a long straight stretch. Along this stretch, look for a parked car and a tall building on the left side. Walk behind that building, and the orb will be sitting right there in the open.

You can collect this orb from either story mode or sandbox mode, so there is no need to fight through waves if you just want the item itself. Interacting with the orb alone will not count toward your redeem progress, though. You still need to finish its full questline on the event page, which includes tasks like completing three stages with a Dragon unit equipped, rerolling equipment three times, and spending fifty thousand gold. Only after both steps, the physical pickup and the quest completion, does the orb count toward your total.
Remaining Wish Orbs and Release Schedule
Orbs four through seven have not fully unlocked yet at the time of writing. The developers are rolling them out one by one over the course of a week rather than dropping all seven at once. This staggered release keeps the event active for longer and gives everyone a fair shot at finishing it before it ends. Keep checking the event page daily, since new orb locations or quest chains can appear without much warning.
How to Redeem Your Wish in Anime Expeditions
Once all seven orbs are in your inventory, redeeming them is simple. Open the Events tab from your main menu and select the Dragon’s Wish event page. You will find a Redeem Wish button once every orb and its matching quest are complete. Tap it, and you instantly receive your rewards.
Dragon’s Wish Rewards Explained
Every quest along the way rewards smaller items like trait crystals, stat rerolls, and equipment rerolls, so the grind is not just about the final prize. The headline rewards still come from finishing the entire chain: an Unbound Trait you can apply to any Dragon unit, plus the Fierce Dragon flying mount, which stands out as one of the more distinct cosmetics added this update.
Tips to Collect All Wish Orbs Faster
A few habits make this event far less frustrating. Bring your strongest units into East Town so you can clear waves quickly if an orb only appears after progress. Check the event page after every session, since some quests update instantly while others only refresh when you return to the main menu. Decide which Dragon unit you want the Unbound Trait on before you redeem it, because you only get one shot at applying it.
Collecting all seven Wish Orbs takes a bit of exploring and a fair amount of grinding, but the payoff is worth it for anyone building a serious Dragon unit lineup. Stay consistent with your daily quests, keep an eye on new orb drops, and you will have your wish redeemed well before the event closes.
