The Adopt Me Halloween event went live on October 3, 2026, and it already feels bigger than last year. We get a haunted hotel, a creepy manor, a crypt, and a carnival that is still under construction. Four new pets arrive in week one, and more will follow. Here is everything we know, plus a few tips to save your Candy Corn.
What the Halloween Update Brings

Adoption Island looks great this year. Ghosts float across the sky, and every new area fits the spooky theme. Each location has its own job. The Manor hosts the Ghost Gallery minigame. The Crypt hides a free pet. The Hotel hosts a pigeon nest. The Carnival sells the Robux pet, though most attractions are locked for now.
Signs around the hotel point to weekly drops. We expect weeks two, three, and four to bring house decorations, toys, vehicles, and probably more pets. Adopt Me follows that pattern almost every season, so we suggest saving some currency.
Adopt Me Halloween event new pets
Week one gives us four pets. Each one uses a different method, so we can plan around them.
- Mummy Spider (Rare): free, after we clear all four Crypt levels

- Jacobin Pigeon (Common): 4,000 Candy Corn, after we build the nest with 8 Twigs
- Jumpscare (Rare): 40,000 Candy Corn at the Manor
- Jester Dragon (Legendary): 1,000 Robux at the Carnival

Jumpscare is our favorite. It is a cute ghost with glowing eyes, and it reminds us of the Snowball Friend. Its tricks include stretching up through the floor. The price is steep, though. Forty thousand Candy Corn means many minigame runs.
The Mummy Spider looks like a normal spider wrapped in bandages. It costs no Candy Corn, so time is the real price. Players who dislike spiders can turn on arachnophobia mode in settings. That option swaps the spider legs for soft blobs.
The Jacobin Pigeon is the odd one out. Some players call it ugly, and we see why. The fluffy crest on its head looks silly. Still, it is the cheapest pet this week, and odd designs often attract collectors.
The Jester Dragon carries bells on its tail and wings, and it performs little jester dances. We like it more than the Phantom Dragon, even with those funny feet. If you do not want to spend Robux, watch for giveaways from creators and from the developers.
How the Ghost Gallery Minigame Works

The Ghost Gallery sits inside the Manor. Ghosts fly into furniture, and we use a Ghost Blaster to free them. Our pet sniffs out the hiding spots, which makes the search easier. Beat the boss at the end to earn Candy Corn.
The boss also drops one Rusty Key. Your inventory may call it a Crypt Key, but both names mean the same item. That key matters more than it sounds. Daily tasks only give us four keys, so the boss supplies the fifth.
We suggest running the minigame before you enter the Crypt. You start with a full set of keys and waste fewer trips. The minigame is also your main Candy Corn source, so expect to play it often.
How the Crypt Works
The Crypt has four levels. We use a key on a grave, and each grave hides Candy Corn, a Twig, or a path down to the next level. The final level rewards the Mummy Spider. After that, the Crypt caves in and resets, so we can run it again with fresh keys.
Collect every Twig and Candy Corn you want before you claim the spider. Twigs also feed the pigeon nest, so the Crypt gives us two pets in one trip. Keys cannot be traded, which means we cannot buy our way through. For a full route, read our guide on how to get the Mummy Spider in Adopt Me.
Smart Ways to Spend Candy Corn
Candy Corn disappears fast because the shop prices vary a lot. The Ghost Blaster costs 7,800, the Nest Stroller costs 11,000, and the Ghoul Mobile costs 44,500. The Orbweaver Glider is the priciest item at 59,000. Two lanterns, the Jack-o’-lantern and Cat-o’-lantern, cost 40 Bucks each.
Pets should come first, because limited pets hold their value better than accessories. Here is the order we plan to follow:
- Finish the Crypt for the free Mummy Spider
- Build the nest and adopt the Jacobin Pigeon
- Save for Jumpscare before we touch any vehicle or glider
This plan keeps us from wasting Candy Corn on flashy items while later weeks add better options. It also works for free-to-play players, since only the Jester Dragon needs Robux.
What Comes Next

Plenty of clues hint at future content. A glowing room with a fortune teller sits in the Carnival, and we have no context for it yet. A large padlock floats in the sky, which may point to a secret room unlocking later. Posters near the Crypt also tease a green glowing pet, so we expect more reveals soon.
The developers also run a coloring giveaway that ends on October 8. The prize is a Jester Dragon, and entries need at least three colors. Players must reach level 5 in the community Discord to join.
Overall, this is a strong start for the Halloween season. We get one free pet, one cheap pet, one big Candy Corn goal, and one Robux option. Play the Ghost Gallery daily, protect your keys, and spend with a plan. We will keep tracking every new drop as the weeks roll out.
