Anime Zero Best Weapons – Top 10 Ranked for Every Tier

Anime Zero gives you plenty of weapons, but not every one deserves your Rolls. Some carry you through Story, Endless, and Raids. Others fall behind once enemy health climbs. We compared the strongest community rankings and built a clear top 10. Use it to decide what to chase, what to keep, and what to replace.

How Weapons Work in Anime Zero

Weapons, also called units, are your main combat tools. Each one has a four-move kit and its own playstyle. You roll for them at the Arsenal using Spins. Active codes and dungeon clears give you more Spins, so redeem codes before you roll. The game lets you equip two weapons at once, so you can swap mid-run depending on the boss. Evolving a weapon unlocks its fourth skill, the ultimate. This is a big power spike, so we suggest evolving your main weapon first.

Top 10 Anime Zero Weapons Ranked

Here is our ranking from best to worst. We judged each weapon on damage, speed, Raid safety, and how easy it is to power up.

  • Flame Director (S): i-frames and a boss-melting ultimate
  • Cataclysm (S): fast, safe, and cheaper to evolve
  • Cursed King (S): best Raid pick outside LYTH
  • Immortal Sovereign (A): flexible Mythic for Story and Defend
  • Dragon Eclipse (A): heavy damage and a great title
  • Divine Emperor (B): long reach but slow moves
  • Lights of Divinity (B): strong bursts, best beside Cataclysm
  • Twisted Agony (C): fast and unusual early option
  • King’s Gambit (C): weapon swaps and deceptive range
  • Rubber Man (C): early combos with a low ceiling

S Tier: Flame Director, Cataclysm, and Cursed King

Flame Director is the strongest pick right now. It holds LYTH rarity, and every move gives you i-frames. Its ultimate can one-shot bosses when you pair it with the Deadeye trait. The catch is the evolution cost. You need Ghosts and Staffs of Homa from the Bathtub Raid, plus 1M Gold and 10K Gems. Plan your farming early.

Cataclysm comes second. It uses lightning-fast katana strikes and large frost bursts. Short cooldowns make it excellent for Story and Endless. Evolving it costs 60 Fine Cloth, 30 Mana Feathers, and 3,000 Gems, which is far cheaper than Flame Director. For many players, that makes Cataclysm the smarter first target.

Cursed King takes third place, but it shines in Raids. Its fast slashes, fire bursts, and domain control come with i-frames. You can attack while dodging damage. We would pick it over any other non-LYTH weapon when bosses hit hard.

A and B Tier: Strong Picks While You Climb

Immortal Sovereign and Dragon Eclipse are Mythic weapons, so codes can help you reach them. Immortal Sovereign stays flexible across Story and Defend content. Dragon Eclipse hits hard up close, and its awakened ultimate shreds early Endless bosses. It also gives one of the best damage and drop titles. Its slower swings feel clumsy at times, though. Treat both as great second-slot weapons until an S-tier pull arrives.

Divine Emperor brings heavy sword strikes, and its reach copies Conqueror’s Haki. Some moves leave you open, which hurts against Raid bosses. Lights of Divinity offers fast combos and Excalibur-style bursts. It looks average alone, but its value jumps next to Cataclysm. We rate it as a support piece, not a main weapon.

C Tier: Useful Early, Easy to Outgrow

Twisted Agony, Kings Gambit, and Rubber Man get you through the early rooms. Twisted Agony mixes acrobatics with scythe attacks. Kings Gambit uses weapon swaps and deceptive range. Rubber Man offers quick combos and heavy hits. All three fall behind as enemy health rises. Cosmic Warrior and Thunder Prodigy sit even lower. They cost only 200 Gems to evolve, so they make fine placeholders. Replace them once you pull better weapons, and do not sink rare materials into them.

Best Weapon Pairs in Anime Zero

Pairing matters as much as the weapons themselves. Any two weapons give a base 5% damage bonus. Named pairs give more, so we should target them on purpose.

  • Cataclysm and Lights of Divinity: 8% speed and 5% lower cooldowns
  • Cursed King and Immortal Sovereign: 10% more damage
  • Kings Gambit and Twisted Agony: 20% faster ultimate charge
  • Divine Emperor and Rubber Man: 15% more max health

The Cataclysm and Lights of Divinity pair is the only one that boosts speed and cooldowns together. That makes it a strong farming setup. Rubber Man also gains real value besides Divine Emperor, thanks to the extra health.

Traits and Accessories That Boost Your Weapon

Even the best weapon struggles with weak stats. Deadeye is the top damage trait, giving 20% damage, 5% crit chance, and 50% crit damage. Supernova suits fast clears with 24% damage and 20% attack speed. Fortune boosts Coins, EXP, and drops, so use it when you grind. Reroll any Power 1, Swift 1, or Focus 1 trait right away. For accessories, Blast Archer Wings balance damage and farming. Blast Archer Crown gives more raw damage, so boss hunters should pick it. You craft accessories from dungeon drops, so steady farming pays off.

Final Thoughts

Our advice is simple. Chase Flame Director or Cataclysm, and run Cursed King for Raids. Use your Mythic weapons while you save materials. Evolve one main weapon fully before you spread resources thin. Anime Zero is new, and balance changes will shuffle this list. We will keep watching the meta, so check back often.
