Anime Zero Update 3 is live, and Void Arbiter is the unit everyone wants. This Lyth kit arrived with the new Trials mode. It also asks for more effort than any other reward in the patch. We gathered the unlock steps, the awakening costs, and a few practical tips. Here is how to get Void Arbiter without wasting your time.
What Is Void Arbiter in Anime Zero?
Void Arbiter is a Lyth sword kit. The newer Evolution and Trait menus list it as Ye-0. Many players also call it Ye Shunguang, after the Zenless Zone Zero character that inspired it. The kit has a separate awakened combat form, so the upgrade changes how it plays. Update 3 even took its name from this unit. That tells us the developers see it as the headline reward.
How to Get Void Arbiter

You unlock Void Arbiter through the Trials mode. Open the story mode menu, select Trials, and then open the Classes tab. The Void Arbiter card shows the challenge. You need to clear Room 325. Spins cannot replace this unlock, and codes do not hand it out.
Room 325 is the highest target among the new units. Here is the full list of unlock requirements at launch:
- Rin Okumura: finish in the top three on the Trials leaderboard
- Silver Calamity (Frieren): clear Room 125 or higher while playing solo
- Astral Blossom (Astra Yao): clear Room 150 or higher in co-op
- Void Arbiter: clear Room 325
The launch announcement listed different room numbers for some of these units. The in-game cards disagree with it. We suggest trusting the card inside your Classes tab. The developers probably forgot to update the post.
How Trials Mode Works
Trials is a floor-based challenge. Each room has five floors, and enemies get tougher as you climb. Every room pays out coins, gems, and materials. A leaderboard tracks the highest room each player reaches. Trials also drops four food items: Capray, Ham, Oris, and Burger.
Matchmaking also got an upgrade. You can now join open rooms from other lobby servers. A queue setting lets you switch that on or off. This helps a lot, since many players do not have friends online. It also makes the co-op requirement for Astral Blossom much easier.
Tips to Reach Room 325 Faster
Shadow Monarch is our pick for Trials. His first evolution stage turns every kill into progress. Each level up adds 4% damage, up to level 10, which totals 40%. Damage needs rise with every floor, so that stacking matters.
Positioning matters too. Mobs spawn all over the room, and the middle sits closest to all of them. Stand there and let enemies come to you. After you clear a floor, press E or tap the leave prompt. Otherwise, you wait about five seconds for the next floor. Those seconds add up across hundreds of rooms.
Here are the habits that helped us most:
- Stay in the middle of the room from the first second
- Skip the wait timer after every clear
- Use your most developed unit, not your favorite one
- Check the Room Rewards panel before you commit to a run
There is one catch. The mode has no next button, only retry or leave. You can AFK farm a single room, but you cannot AFK your way upward. Reaching Room 325 needs active runs.
Void Arbiter Awakening Cost
Unlocking the unit is only step one. Awakening opens the ultimate and the second combat form. It costs a lot, so plan. Here is the full list:
- 25 Fine Cloth: drops in every story chapter and Infinite mode
- 50 Magic Pendant: drops in Chapter 1
- 5,000,000 coins
- 12,000 gems
The Material Shop sells Fine Cloth and Magic Pendant if you run short. Coins and gems come from codes and mode rewards.
Let us put those numbers in context. Shadow Monarch’s first stage needs 1,000,000 coins and 10,000 gems. Void Arbiter asks for five times the coins. It also needs 50 Magic Pendants, compared with eight for Monarch. So start saving early. Do not burn coins on random upgrades while you chase Room 325.
Is Void Arbiter Worth the Grind?
We cannot call it the new best unit yet. Rankings have not caught up with Update 3. The current raid favorite remains the Shadow Monarch and Flame Director pair, with Deadeye for burst damage. Keep that main for farming. Then use your spare resources to build Void Arbiter slowly.
Accessories deserve a thought as well. Blast Archer Wings still beat every new Update 3 accessory. The new options cost less, though. They need two mythic materials instead of three. That makes them decent budget picks while your coins go toward awakening.
Free Codes to Help You Prepare
Update 3 brought three fresh codes. Redeem them right away. They give coins, spins, and trait rerolls, which help with both awakening and builds. They will not give you Void Arbiter itself. Check the official Discord now and then, since new codes appear often.
Final Thoughts
Void Arbiter rewards patience. Clear Room 325, save your currencies, and keep a strong main in the meantime. Use the middle-room trick and skip every wait timer. The grind becomes much easier. Bookmark this page, because we will update it as soon as new details appear.
