Steal an Egg Halloween Update – Eggs, Dimension Guide and Free Rewards

The Halloween Dimension update has landed in Steal an Egg, and it is one of the biggest drops the game has seen. We get a new spooky world, a team battle event, fresh pets, and a candy corn economy. The event runs from October 17 to October 24, 2026, so the window is short. Here is everything we know, plus tips to get ahead.

What the Halloween Update Adds

The launch started late. A server bug stopped players from joining, so the admin abuse slipped back by 15 to 30 minutes. Once servers recovered, the developer ran the usual rare egg spawns. One of them was a silver secret egg in the Enchanted Forest.

The update also points to a bigger second part next week. A castle and a train station already sit inside the new world, but we cannot use them yet. We expect both to open in the next drop.

One warning before you jump in. Cheaters showed up in many servers during the launch and grabbed eggs instantly. If you spot one, switch servers right away. It costs you less time than fighting for scraps.

Steal an Egg: Halloween Eggs

The main prize is the Halloween Egg. It is a limited-time event egg, and it is the only way to hatch the exclusive Halloween pets. The pool is stacked. We see one divine pet, four eternals, four secrets, and five cosmics. The normal index has no new pets, so everything new lives in the event pool.

You can buy the egg in the Halloween Egg shop with Robux. Bigger bundles lower the price per egg.

  • 1 egg costs 99 Robux
  • 3 eggs cost 249 Robux
  • 10 eggs cost 799 Robux
  • 50 eggs cost 3,499 Robux

The odds are steep at the top. The most common pet hits at 39%, while the rarest sits at just 0.5%. A zombified variant of a Halloween pet has a 1% chance. At 0.5%, we would expect around 200 hatches for the rarest pet on average. Luck can swing either way, so set a budget before you buy.

The shop listing will vanish when the event ends. Do not wait for the final day.

How to Unlock the Halloween Dimension

The dimension opens after a team battle event. We fight in teams, blast enemy players, and destroy enemy crystals. Nobody respawns, so the last team standing wins.

The match flows in three steps. First, we break the enemy wall. The wall shows cracks but no health percentage, which confused many of us at first. Second, we attack the crystal behind it. Third, we hunt the remaining players. A safe zone and a sudden death round follow.

Here is a useful detail. Your team can still win after you get eliminated. So do not rage quit when you fall early. Stay in the match and let your teammates finish the job.

After the win, a cutscene plays, and the Halloween world opens. The portal stays open afterward, so we do not need a quest to enter later.

How to Farm Candy Corn and Steal Spooky Eggs

Inside the dimension, we kill monsters to earn candy corn. We also steal spooky eggs and carry them back through the portal to hatch them in the main world. The catch is a ghost. Once we grab an egg, a ghost chases us down and resets it.

Bigger eggs are harder to carry. The ghost moves fast, and one hit sends the egg back. We found one trick that works well. Drop the egg when the ghost closes in, then pick it up again. This resets the chase and lets you inch toward the portal.

  • Hit bats and chests for quick candy corn
  • Defeat the pumpkin golem for candy corn and a chance at an egg
  • Steal smaller eggs first, since they are easier to carry
  • Skip huge eggs unless you have plenty of Speed

Candy corn comes fast. We reached 400 in a short session. You spend it in the shop on the Halloween event egg, which holds some strong pets.

Free Ways to Get Halloween Eggs

We can also catch natural spawns without spending Robux. New eggs spawn in the biomes every 5 minutes. The game posts rare spawns in the feed on the left side of the screen, so watch it closely. Every player sees the same alert, so speed matters.

Picking up an egg wakes the biome’s Nest Guardian, and it chases you. Run the egg back to your base and set it in your pen. Once it reaches your base or hatches, nobody can steal it.

Your Speed decides which biomes you can enter. Lake needs 900, Desert needs 10k, and Jungle needs 40k. Snow needs 170k, Volcano needs 700k, and the higher biomes climb into the millions and billions. Treadmills and Trails raise your Speed, so keep upgrading them.

One more thing. Steal an Egg has no code redeem box. Any video or site that promises a free Halloween egg code is fake. Never share your password or pay Robux outside the game.

Side Quests and Event Bonuses

The dimension hides a fun side quest. A ghost fisherman lost his best friend, a little ghost dog named Ekko. The dog lost his memories, so we must find four scattered items for him. Then we return to the fisherman for a reward.

A blood moon event also appears from time to time. It doubles candy corn, so it is the best moment to farm monsters. We suggest saving your hardest grinding for those windows.

Final Thoughts

This update gives us a lot to chase in a single week. Win the team battle, farm candy corn, and keep an eye on the spawn feed for free eggs. Plan your Robux spending early, because the event ends on October 24. We will keep watching for the second part, since the castle and train station look like big additions. Jump in, stay fast, and good luck with your hatches.
