Free Fire OB33 Update (March 2022) Details: Release Date, New Characters, New Pet, New Mechanisms & Much More

The latest OB32 update of Free Fire (FF) was released on January 19, 2022. With this update, a lot of changes were introduced in the game, such as new Alpine map, new weapon Extra Charge and much more. You can check out the complete changelog here.

Like the previous updates, the upcoming OB33 update will also bring many new changes and additions to the game. This article will share all the leaks available to us about the Free Fire’s (FF) new OB33 update.

Free Fire OB33 Update Release Date

The Free Fire’s Upcoming OB33 Update, aka March 2022 update, is expected to release on March 23, 2022. As of now, there is no announcement made by developers officially. But if you are our (Free Fire Booyah!) regular reader, you must know that there is no harm in relying on our expert prediction, because we are almost right always.

Free Fire OB33 Update New Features

The upcoming OB33 update will remove some old features and bring a lot of new features to Free Fire. As time passes and we reach close to the release date, more and more leaks will start coming from different sources. So we dedicate this post specifically to the leaks available from today itself.

1. New Character – Snowelle

If you could play Free Fire OB25 Advanced Server, you must have played using this female character named ‘Snowelle.’ Nonetheless, the character was not introduced in the game since then, so we can expect her with the OB33 update. She is a Lab researcher who is specialized in nanotechnology and robotics.

Just like every character of the game, Snowelle also comes with a special skill called ‘Nano Nerves.’ Her special skill causes enemies who are shot by her will be unable to use their Active Skill and unable to convert EP into HP.

• Nano Nerves Level 1: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 45s.
• Nano Nerves Level 2: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 42s.
• Nano Nerves Level 3: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 39s.
• Nano Nerves Level 4: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 36s.
• Nano Nerves Level 5: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 33s.
• Nano Nerves Level 6: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 30s.

2. New Character – Sverr

Sverr is in the upcoming character’s list from OB24 Advanced Server, but we did not get to see him in the game since then. Let’s hope to get him as a playable character in the game with the OB33 update.

Sverr is a top-tier MMA fighter and comes with a Special Skill (Active Skill) called ‘Going Berserk.’ Currently, there are ‘DJ Alok’, ‘Chrono’ and other popular characters in the game with active skill. So with the OB33 update, Sverr is going to join the family of Active Skill characters.

Sverr’s Special Ability increases damage dealt to the enemy as his HP gets reduced. At level 1, his special skill consumes 40HP to increase damage by 10% and lasts for 5 seconds. By playing matches, you can level up the character to increase this percentage.

3. New Pet – Zasil

Like all the previous OB updates, with the OB33 update, a new pet will also be introduced in the game and it is named ‘Zasil’. The new pet looks like Axolotl animal and comes with a special ability called “Extra Luck”.

Zasil’s special ability increases the recovered health of the owner by some percentage when he/she use inhaler/medical kit/repair kit. The detailed effect of it’s ability based on its level are as follows:

• Level 1: Every time the owner consumes an inhaler/medical kit/repair kit, there are chances to receive an additional 25%. Skill cooldown is 120 seconds.
• Level 2: Every time the owner consumes an inhaler/medical kit/repair kit, there are chances to receive an additional 33%. Skill cooldown is 100 seconds.
• Level 3: Every time the owner consumes an inhaler/medical kit/repair kit, there are chances to receive an additional 50%. Skill cooldown is 70 seconds.

4. New Weapon: MAC-10

The Military Armament Corporation Model 10, officially abbreviated as “M10” or “M-10”,[4] and more commonly known as the MAC-10, is a compact, blowback operated machine pistol/submachine gun that Gordon B. Ingram developed in 1964. It is chambered in either .45 ACP or 9mm. After its introduction in Free Fire, the new gun MAC-10 will use SMGs ammo while being a Pistol category gun.

5. New Mechanism – Fire From Inside Vehicle

Similar to other same genre games, Free Fire will also be introducing the feature of firing at enemies from inside the vehicles. Now, it will be fun to fight like gangsters in Free Fire also. Garena has also revealed this new mechanism in one of the trailers.

6. New Vehicle – Scooter

In one of the recently released trailers by Garena, the new Shirou character of Free Fire can be seen riding a Scooter. It is expected to be introduced as a new vehicle in Free Fire with the OB33 update.
